Wasn’t on our list – but the dealers in the live roulette room heard we got married, and had a pit manager send us a giftcard! Stripsteak was able to squeeze us in the next day on a timeline. Hands down – the best service we have ever had. Joe, was our waitperson and was amazing. We were on a tight timeline as we had show tickets, and they had everything ready for us in a timely manner. Brought out complementary glasses of champagne when they realized we had just gotten married as well. Trio of frites & dips were the tableside app – so yummy! And also gluten free. Im celiac and they we’re very good with this, and also had GF icons noted on their menu. (This was so hard to find elsewhere!) We we still full from lunch so we split a few things: 2 Glasses of Pinot Grigio | Caesar Salad | 10oz American Waygu Skirt Steak | Half Lobster | Whipped Potatoes | Chimchurri Sauce We mentioned we we’re splitting it, and they said they would be happy to split it in the kitchen for us so we didn’t have to worry about it tableside! What a nice accommodation. Salad was great and a great portion split between the two of us. Steak was the best I’ve ever had in my life – and while I love chimichurri, the steak was so perfectly cooked and flavourful it didn’t need it. Potatoes were smooth and delicious – can’t speak to the lobster personally as that was just for the husband, but he said it was great! They tried comping us dessert but we had to go to our show and we were honestly so full we had to decline! We had no less than 12 table touches and wonderful conversation from Joe. We cannot recommend them enough, won’t hesitate to go back the next time we are there!

Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay delivers an exquisite dining experience that's hard to rival. It was recently renovated with a brand new, private dining room that was created. Nestled within restaurant row of Mandalay Bay, Stripsteak offers an upscale atmosphere that effortlessly blends modern aesthetics with classic steakhouse charm. From the moment you enter, you are greeted by attentive staff who exhibit both professionalism and warmth. It’s a very popular restaurant amongst the convention crowd since the convention center and the Michelob light arena is steps away from the restaurant. The true star, however, is the menu. Each cut of steak is perfectly aged and cooked to perfection, with a delectable outer sear and tender, juicy inside. Their signature truffle butter complements the steak, adding a layer of richness that elevates the entire dish. Beyond steaks, the seafood options are fresh and inventive. They even have sushi on the menu. The sides, ranging from the creamy truffle mac & cheese to the crisp duck fat fries, are not mere afterthoughts but stars in their own right. I love the french fries starter dish that has three different dips. They are also one of the few restaurants that serve beignets for dessert. Pairing your meal with a selection from their extensive wine list is a must. Each recommendation made by the in-house sommelier seems tailored to enhance your chosen dish. In conclusion, Stripsteak stands out not just for its impeccable dishes but for the holistic dining experience it offers. A visit here is more than just a meal; it's a culinary journey that leaves you both satisfied and longing for a return visit.

My beloved wife made a reservation at StripSteak inside the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. We were assigned to Brian (Senpai) and Luis (Kohai) who worked to create an awesome eating experience I would like to share my feedback below: 1. Brian welcomed us and articulated an unexpected statement. “This is your special day.” The expression connoted something exciting was planned for us. Did they prepared something for us? We were hopeful and indeed it was for us since we were there to celebrate a milestone and attend the IICRC AIMS meeting. 2. The beginning of our “special day” centered around French fry appetizer. Be prepared StripSteak takes French fries to the next level. There of three variations of French Fries with unique spices and dips. We wanted more of them, alas we received only one appetizer. By the time, we finished the Fries our food was being served. Right on time!!!! 3. What did we order? We ordered Ribeye Steak and succulent Bass. The food was “INCREDIBLE” a blend of flavors that dazzle your taste buds. SIDEBAR, I took a sneak peek at their meatologist (cook). The cook looked at me as he grilled with charcoal and wood. I was more surprised on how he cooked steaks to perfection without a thermometer. His mastery was so acute all he had to do is do a visual and touch the meat. Master griller extraordinaire!!!!! 4. The ambience was amazing and set the right mood for us. 5. The StripSteak was clean and the blend of cooking aroma that stimulate your olfactories. In conclusion, we recommend eating there prior to seeing the our Michael Jackson show. If you find this review helpful please like it 👍

Waiters “Order takers” were EH. The Wait-Staff delivery, bus service and the Food were EXCEPTIONAL.

To level set. I was in town for work and dining solo. Mandalay Bay had both a Volleyball tourney and major music concert on-site.

At 5 o’clock they allowed Bar & Bar area seating. 1st come/1st served. The Bar had mostly “reserved” seats so as the 2nd or 3rd person in, I took a small table Bar adjacent. I Just wanted to order dinner, eat and get out. The line to get in was long because they had a TON of reservations.

It seemed like at the Bar would have been a better choice. Drink-cocktail order was taken by water/order taker (Jennifer), BUT I eventually had to ask the Manager (Ron) to help me order food. He was friendly and helpful. Told me he was New.

The (2) Two waiter/order takers for the sections seemed overwhelmed as within 30 minutes the Bar/Bar areas were completely full.

Wait-staff delivery (I had Omar) was swift, clean and each time he asked if I needed anything plus offered suggestions. Then the bus-service (I had Juan) was also swift and professional. He automatically refilled my water glass several times.

——-——- CUCUMBER MARTINI $20- light and refreshingly delicious.

SALMON TATAKI $25- Four (4) sashimi slices with a nice flavorful slightly spicy sauce. Good. But will skip if there’s a next-time.

WAGYU RIBCAP $96- Absolutely perfect! Cooked exactly how I asked. The marbling of the meat while cooked over fire took the taste and flavor to off-the-charts fantastic!Just a pinch of Sea or Himalayan salt on top. Once you try this steak you will understand why it’s the Chefs favorite cut and the Signature steak on the menu.

Relatively small size but because of the appetizer Spicy fried rice plus I added the half lobster tail- they even gave some claw meat ($43-) it was more than enough. I had to pack half of it to go.

SPICY FRIED RICE $16- Excellent flavor. Just the right amount of seasoning, veggies-onion and pork belly bits.

— — ——- Unfortunately, my Waiter/order taker (Jennifer) breezed by me at least a half-dozen times. Never checked in or asked about my order… eventually I waved her down because my work associate asked me to order some to-go. Then she ‘flew-off’ (and was NEVER seen again).

While waiting and waiting and waiting to catch Jennifer to close out my check, I noticed the continual delivery of small cups of Fries and overhead they are truffle infused french fries. So during one of his delivery and check-on rounds to all in my section… I asked Wait-staffer Omar about them because they are not on the menu.

He looked puzzled and then told me they are “complimentary”. But when I told him I was not offered any, he insisted I take some to-go and immediately packed them up for me ( I told him I was full. But he said they are a “must at least try”).

Finally. At the end, I WALKED OVER to the manager (Ron) and asked him to please see me.

I told him how wonderful his wait staffers (Juan and Omar) are and pointed out each table where they were delivering, doing, taking, cleaning, pouring and slightly interacting with customers…. I suggested that he take a very close look and strongly consider bumping them up (Omar to waiter/order taker and Juan to higher rank server)!!!!

Then, I told him I need my to-go order and asked him to run my card to close out my bill. He apologized for any lack of service and said if I return to ask for him.

Although Half of the food on my bill was To-Go, I still tipped 20% of the Total.

SPECIFICALLY because of Omar...

My name is Monica Smith. On Thursday, January 16th, my niece, Chantell, myself, and our friend, Jasmine were first time guests, my colleague Tre was a repeat guest of StripSteak, Las Vegas, a Michael Mina restaurant located inside of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

We sat at the Bar. I was immediately greeted by a very charming gentleman named Mr. Sandro Coppola, Assistant General Manager. He gave all of us a warm greeting. I shared we came to celebrate Chantell’s 25th birthday.

After being seated, I got the opportunity to meet Mr. Anthony DiGregorio whom I had only communicated with via phone and never met in person. Our party of 4 were given the trio of French fries with 3 types of dipping sauces which was a great starter. The French fries were prepared perfectly: golden brown, lightly salted, the right thickness! Next, we were given a trio of refreshing mini taster martinis. The flavors were peach, pomegranate and cucumber. Then a drink called the Cherry Bomb. From this point on my life had changed….we named Mr. DiGregorio, the Master Mixologist!

Mr. Coppola came by to check on us and I shared my experience thus far. I work in Hospitality and first impressions are lasting. The appetizer, martinis and Cherry bomb had awakened all 5 senses. The taste of the ingredients and flavors, the smell of the aromas, to touch the texture, hear the reactions from other guests and seeing the presentation.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Edward Tracy, General Manager, Restaurant Excellence Team of The Mina Group. I shared my positive feedback with him. We appreciated him taking the time to engage with us. The menu offers a variety of cuisines to choose from: signature cut steaks, seafood, caviar, chicken, fish, lamb chops, appetizers, salads and side dishes to name a few.

My niece and I wanted Gluten free, Veggie options. We made one exception, the Creamed Spinach. It looked so good we went for it without being made with our preferred options. We shared four of the side dishes, that’s how plentiful they were.

The Black Truffle Mac n Cheese with four cheese blend. Flavorful! Creamed Spinach with Parmesan cheese and Mornay sauce (can be gluten free and veggie) Brussel Sprouts with mustard garlic glaze and fresno peppers -Whipped Potatoes with butter and chives

Among the four side dishes, the ingredients and flavors were buttery, savory, and a hint of spicy. The textures were smooth, tender, melt in your mouth really good!

I highly recommend you dine at StripSteak, Las Vegas restaurant. The service, atmosphere, food and beverages were outstanding! We...

This restaurant did not meet my expectations. I ordered the 20 oz bone in cowboy ribeye medium rare and while the inside was perfectly cooked, the charred outside part just tasted burnt. I understand they are fire grilled which is why initially asked to have the shallot butter sauce on the side and just salt and pepper on the steak but the server said it was just going to be very little sauce wiped on the outside of the steak. It was a mistake not to just insist on salt & pepper. My friend who ordered the filet cooked the same way also said his steak tasted burnt.

To top this, it seemed like the 20 oz tomahawk ribeye steak I ordered was a select grade. Granted they did not claim it was prime or dry aged, but I've gotten choice grade ribeye steaks from the grocery store that was more tender and appetizing than this one. The cap area, my favorite part, was tough and very chewy. I always dig into that section right away to savor the fatty tenderness of the meat. This is my first time ever to have hard, tough, chewy fat on a ribeye steak. Even the inside/middle part wasn't as tender as ribeye steaks I'm used to. It was a struggle to chew each piece.

You may be wondering why I did not say anything to the server if I wasn't happy with my food. We were there for the Michael Jackson show and we were running late. I was starving and knowing it will be another at least a half hour or so if I asked for a replacement, I decided to just eat some of the steak. Sad to say, I may have just eaten not even a 3rd of it and just gorged down on the free French fries.

I took the remaining steak home and "dissected" it, out of curiosity because it was an $88 piece of meat. It was indeed a tough piece of meat with gristle all over. I initially planned to save it maybe by braising the still about 16 oz of meat but was so frustrated I threw it in the trash.

Lesson learned...not just because a steakhouse is a $$$$ it's guaranteed you'll get a good steak. I could have gotten prime cuts from Costco for that price and enjoyed it more.

The 3 stars are for the sea bass, the free French fries, delicious mushroom side dish and great service. Still a waste of money, though. What a big...
