Staff is so super cute and friendly the second I stepped in. Love the professionalism way better than a hood hood shop lol LMFao. Just being funny 0:) but seriously went to another shop down the street that first greet acts really kind and then had a weird attitude and vibe that scared me away.

This spot may seem a little pricier but it’s way worth it ! I realllly don’t want to bring home the bad energy I absorbed from the last dispensary. It messed up my mind for a few days I did not feel well, I felt worse, which is like what’s the point of getting trees to feel worse? They also have a loyalty program where u can get 20% off your first purchase I think and additional point system.

I was so excited to see they opened Essence in Pasadena as I had an outstanding experience at the Vegas location when I was experiencing heightened pain and I was literally in tears at that shop. Refreshing to see a difference from a dispensary that acts like a cheapy liquor store and one that caters to you as a Patient or a friend. It may be used recreationally yet it’s more medical than alcohol ever would be. I think people are confused and treat herb as the same and they are not. Immediately as i walked in I was already impressed with the set up of the location. Very spacious and clean , as well as a nice greeting. We placed our order on one of the kiosks and quickly went to pick it up at the counter which we honestly had no issue with as i know other dispensarys have the products on full display but honestly that didn't bother us as you can always ask questions if you aren't sure of something. Willy was the employee who assisted us today and speaking to him was such a breath of fresh air and just so pleasant. He was incredibly knowledgeable and even as someone who is a long term experienced smoker, he actually taught me something's new. It was incredibly nice also being able to talk to him about the progression of cannabis in California including him recommending me growers that I had not heard of yet and his kindness and enthusiasm was truly radiating kindness and positivity and I hope they get their credit for their part of being involved/working/promoting Rise.
