Do NOT go here. Do not get an overpriced membership (honestly this gym is worth 3 dollars and 25 cents). Save your toll money. Don't even print out the 5 day trial. Save your ink on that too.
Anyone who gives this place 5 stars is LYING. If I could leave a 0 star review this would be it. (Y'all can bet that I'm leaving reviews on yelp and facebook too. Copy and pasted. Go ahead and check that out.)
I've been a member for a while and it's gone from adequate, to ew. The complaints are, to name a few: broken AC and equipment, always running out of sanitizing wipes, weights are never racked, or are missing, or are out of order, only two squat racks, (one of which is not even in front of a mirror, no chance of checking my form there), the barbells are old and rusty, and lastly, barbell clamps are always missing. These have to violate some sort of health and safety regulation.
Almost all, not every, but almost (there are about 3 and a half actually qualified individuals, and around 2 staff members who are functioning human beings), all of the trainers at this facility have no idea what they're doing. Probably barely passed their CPT test after the 3rd time with a score of 70.1112. They do nothing but impede on your personal space, even if they are in the middle of a training session. Even if YOU are in the middle of training. You guys should really... just a suggestion... FOCUS on your CLIENTS. They're the one's paying $300 a month for your wacky workouts that probably only consists of 5 different moves and 1 actual triset. All taught with bad form (hello juvenile arthritis for those of y'all trying to get summer time fine). These (again, not all) trainers don't care about your back pains, they're trying to get what's in your back pockets. The shmoney. If you feel insulted, well then the shoe fits. We've all read how you share personal information about clients and your McDonald's grade customer service (Which is actually an insult to Mickey D workers). So don't even try.
Really hoping the new renovations will amp up the place (doubt it), equipment may be stellar but if your management sucks then the people who are paying (ye who keepeth the lights on) can't workout to their maximum potential. For a place being called "Dynamic Fitness" there's only one way this place is dynamic, and it's being mediocre.
With all these bad experiences, once a new gym opens up in the Pearland area you guys are going out of business for sure. Other gym members can make...
Read moreI’ve been going here for more than 3 years and the front desk have the worst customer service ever! I have recommended loved ones and friends to this gym Nd I’ve been paying the monthly and yearly fees. Yes yearly fees which they don’t tell you upon signing up. The girl at the front desk was being very forceful, unapologetic and utterly unprofessional in front of my boyfriend and among other members!!!! Never been more disappointed in this gym! I had never had any issues nor been miss treated until NOW Nd mind you I workout 5 days a week but I wanted to go workout on Saturday April 13, 2019 because I had a very stressful week and I had skipped Friday so to make up for it and unwind my stress I decided to go to the gym but the girl was forcing me to take a picture even tho I politely declined due to me not being informed and completely not prepared to take a picture, she still insisted upon that telling me I was not allowed to go in if I did not take the damn picture. I’ve been a loyal member for three years paying for a membership that allowed me to have access to the gym Nd for her to tell me she can not ALLOW me to go in because of a picture is completely unacceptable! To top it off she was not wearing a uniform nor a name tag to further identify that she in FACT worked there. Workout clothes and not having a name tag it’s not an acceptable work uniform specially if they blend in with the members wearing workout clothes. I will definitely keep on posting negative reviews and comments to this location thru any social media linked to their location and also not recommended my loved ones or potential clients anymore because I don’t want them to go thru what I’m going thru. By the way it seems like I’m not the only one that feels that way and by the looks of it the current manager she is really not doing anything to prevent loss of loyal membership/customers. I will definitely reach out to the corporate people for them to be aware of what’s going on In this location Trust me the specials they have going on it’s not worth signing up to!!! They will treat you bad knowing very well your a loyal paying member!!! There are other new gyms around the Pearland area that will be way better than this place (at this point I wouldn’t even call it a gym...
Read moreIf you live in the Pearland area this is a relatively nice gym to attend. The machines are consistently being upgraded or changed if needed. Most of the workers are friendly and treat you well. I have been a member of this gym for 3 years now and can honestly say, for the price its worth it.
The one constructive criticism I have for the establishment is that your attention to the little things is not the best. I'll give you an example.... Most people come to the gym before work or after work, meaning that during those prime hours we are at the gym. There are 8 TVs facing the treadmills and 1 mounted on the back wall that shows the schedules of the activities and 1 mounted above the kids section. It is my experience that 9 of those TV's are useless, of the 3 years that I have came to this gym you guys fail to show sports or news. You guys missed out on showing the NBA playoffs, NFL playoffs, F1 races, tennis matches. There are 4 other TV's by the weights section and only 1 of them has sports or news. I think I can safely say that as a member I DO NOT care about the music videos, the music is already playing through the speakers this isn't 2008 I don't need to see a music video. I can also tell you that I DO NOT care about how much other people are burning calories or whatever it displays. Keep that stuff on the app, if people really care they will interact more with your app.
I understand we do not come to the gym to watch TV but often times when I get home, I get changed and come straight to the gym around 6pm, 7pm, 8pm when sports teams are playing. In case I forget my headphones or I would like to catch part of the game it would be nice to know that you guys will have it. I don't need to see a slideshow with all your employees because it doesn't bring any value to me, its pointless. Again, just consider the fact that out of the 14-16 TV's you have they are either not working or displaying stuff we DO NOT not want to see. I hope you guys can...
