Went in to get a few drinks, usually I never have an issue. But I don’t know if it was because of the previous rush they had or someone had a bad day, but I have a few words to say about my visit. I had an incorrect order, I came back in patiently waiting for my turn in line. An Asian lady cuts me and ask about her 5th order that she forgot to order, the gentlemen treated her nicely and spoke to her in a well matter. My turn comes, I ordered a hazelnut cream tea blend, I got a hazelnut coffee cream blend from my previous order so I nicely asked if I could get it correctly. The boy says to me “next time when you order you need to tell us this” I responded “I did order that specifically, but I still got an incorrect order” the other boy tried to correct saying that it’s the same drink. WHICH IS ITS NOT. I received a hazelnut COFFEE cream blend, I wanted a hazelnut cream TEA blend. The boy who tried to correct me treated me differently compared to the Asian woman that cut in front of me the first time. I am too an Asian woman, but I am darker than her. So I felt like it was a racial thing. I felt unwelcome, I felt like I was being treated differently, I felt like I was getting racially profiled. And after they have remade my drink they didn’t say ask for my name, they didn’t apologize, they didn’t even look at me with a welcoming face while giving my drink. It was basically tossed onto the counter and he immediately walked away. If it was the previous woman who cut in front of me, I’m pretty sure they would’ve apologized and greeted her nicely. Their names were Ethan and Rick I think. You need to reevaluate staff manners towards customers, go over racial profiling, just retraining in general. I too work at a fast pace job, but this is not how you should treat customers.
I also didn’t get money back from my order, but I didn’t want to argue over $1.75. Since the Hazelnut coffee cream blend was $6.50 or something and the Hazelnut cream tea was $4.50. I thought I would get money back, but...
Read moreThe drinks are incredible, especially the ones made by Jethreaux??? (it was on his hat). The food is really good, too. I've tried all of their food items. Beware, however, of their extremely hot cayenne pepper spice. Mild already makes me sweat! My favorites are the popcorn chicken (mild or no spice), egg rolls, and their seasoned french fries. Ask for sweet chili sauce for the chicken and egg rolls; you won't regret it! The squid balls and sweet potato fries are good, too. Favorite drinks are Fresh Orange Green Tea, Strawberry Green Tea with Aloe Vera Gel, Watermelon Juice, Jasmine Green Cream Tea with honey, Strawberry Banana Cream Blend with Strawberry Hearts, Mango Avocado Cream Blend (you can mix flavors!), Taro Cream Blend, Taro Coconut Cream Blend, Citrus Chamomile Green Tea Press with C honey, Thai Tea, Teahouse #1 Cream Tea with honey, Honey Green Tea, Strawberry Ice Blend, Osmanthus Oolong Cream Tea Press with C honey, Taro Strawberry Cream Blend, Matcha Cream Tea, Coconut Cream Blend, and many more! The workers are extremely nice and the place is clean! You can study, eat, work, or just kick it with your friends. The atmosphere is great, especially when the place is packed. One thing that sets this place apart is the amount of love they put into their drinks and other products. You can just see it in their faces when they're pouring your drinks into the cups with smiles from ear to ear. They call your name out with beautiful smiles and tell you to have a great rest of your day, and when you walk out, they say, "See you tomorrow!" I walk away with a grin, thinking, "Why yes, yes you will. See y'all tomorrow." I can already hear them as I walk in. "Welcome to Teahouse!" I can't wait...
Read moreReason people give this one star is because there is no zero star rating. Milk teas here are not good compare to the Kung Fu tea across town center. Milk teas here are so sweet that almost close to plain syrup and not milky as Kung fus. Ambience, space and restroom is much better but I did not come here for that but for their teas which seems they already failed to satisfy my palate. I am a coffee and tea savvy.... Updated: I made them aware about the sweetness of their teas and the guy offer to remake my milk teas but only to find out that he merely tweak my milk tea by adding ice and blended it which became like a bland chocolate shakes. From cookies and cream milk tea with lots of glucose became bland chocolate shake- it was never remade like he offered. June 8 thursday night visit. You know who you are. There are so much authentic milk teas than this one.
All I can say is- Try their oreo milk tea here versus cookies and cream from The Teahouse and you already know which one is genuine to you...
