First I’ll start with the good. I received a text message offering a free class to try out Pure Barre. I accepted the offer and enjoyed the free class on February 17th. The instructors were nice and helpful with assisting with form. They acknowledge new clients as well motivate all participants during class. I decided to sign up for a 3 month discounted membership for the rate of $111.00 per month for 8 classes. On February 24th I received a text offer to get unlimited class in March for an extra $25. I accepted the offer and my card was charged the additional $25.00. In March, the pandemic hit and the studio closed on March 18th. My card was charged $139.00 that same day which was more than the membership cost but I didn’t address the issue. In April, I decided to cancel my membership prior to my next payment. I texted the number that I had received offers from in the past because with the studio being closed, I wasn’t sure of another contact method. I didn’t receive a response. I then completed an online form to cancel my membership. I received a call from the owner, Melissa. She encouraged me to keep my membership and take classes online through Facebook. I declined the online classes because I don’t use Facebook but agreed to keep my membership because she was going to put it on hold and I would not be charged. At that time, my card had already been charged for March and I had paid an additional fee for unlimited classes. She assured me that I would not incur any other charges for a few months. On April 18th, my card was charged $139 for classes and an additional $39 for Facebook live streaming. I emailed Melissa. She stated that she thought that I agreed to stream classes. I reminded her that I was firm about that because I do not have an active Facebook account. She encouraged me to use someone else’s account which I declined. She finally agreed to refund the $39.00 charge. We discussed that my account should be on freeze and she restated that my account wouldn’t incur further charges for a couple of months. At this point I paid for two months of classes at a higher rate than the agreement and I hadn’t attended any classes since February. During the month of March, the studio put everyone’s account on hold. I didn’t incur any charges. In June, the studio reopened. I did not plan to attend classes but did not contact them about my account because twice I had been told that I wouldn’t incur charges for a couple of months - at least the end of July or August, I was told. On June 17th, my card was once again charged for 139.00. I emailed Melissa twice before receiving a response. I requested a refund reminding her of our past conversations. She stated that she did not recall telling me that I wouldn’t incur charges for a few months and refused to provide a refund. Essentially, I paid for three months of classes $139.00 (a higher rate than the agreement) plus an additional $25 for unlimited classes. Melissa was insensitive and proved that she values money...
Read morecan’t say enough good things about my experience with Pure Barre. It has truly been the best workout I’ve ever found — and more importantly, the one that actually works for me. From the very first class, I felt welcomed, motivated, and challenged in the best possible way.
Each workout pushes me just enough outside of my comfort zone to grow stronger, both mentally and physically. The routines are low-impact but incredibly effective, targeting muscles I didn’t even know I had. I leave every class feeling accomplished and energized, and I’ve seen amazing results over time — not just in strength and tone, but in confidence and overall well-being.
What I love most is that no two classes feel exactly the same. The instructors are encouraging and knowledgeable, always offering modifications or enhancements depending on your level. I’m constantly challenged, which keeps things exciting and ensures I never plateau.
If you’re looking for a workout that truly delivers, supports your goals, and fits into a sustainable lifestyle, I couldn’t recommend Pure Barre more. It’s been a total game-changer for...
Read moreI used ClassPass to come here in January. Kayla Titus was our instructor. I loved her playlist, the exercises, and overall atmosphere. She makes sure you’re doing the poses and movements correctly. I took ballet in college for a semester, so I thought it would be easy. It was a workout and I love it! Kayla will have yiu work muscles yiu didn’t know existed. Be sure to bring socks with grip, if not you’ll have to purchase some at the store or reschedule. If you’re a ClassPass member coming to this studio for the first time, remember you can’t cancel or reschedule within about 12 hours of your class or there is a fee or something. Bring the grip socks. The older woman working the front desk was a little rude and didn’t make me feel welcomed as a first timer. Thanks to Kayla’s kindness and talent I will definitely come back and recommend her to my friends, family, and network.
The older woman working the front desk should be kinder to your new and...
