A friend referred me to this salon a couple months ago I loved it but yesterday I had the worst experience ever I got to the salon around 12:50PM I’ve noticed it wasn’t as many workers as it normally is so I was prepared to wait so I waited for about an hour I’m a familiar face so the nail techs know that I like to go to one specific person the communication yesterday was horrible I did not get in the seat until 3:20 PM the salon closes at 4 PM on Sunday if you see 5 PM on the door ignore it because they actually close at 4 PM about 2 PM the nail tech that normally service me says Michelle would you like to come back I have an appointment I’m thinking he saying do I want to go and take care of some business or get something to eat and swing back around he never said I can’t get to you today never gave me the option of allowing someone else to service me which I would have been perfectly fine with because I was just getting a basic refill cut down polish and I had my eight month old son with me so we’re sitting in the salon for hours everybody’s coming in and out getting services done and I’m just sitting there like a bump on a log it was so horrible It left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning when I say I frequently go to the salon I mean on the regular more than normal people go to the salon I don’t believe I was treated like that and then no one wanted to apologize for the miscommunication he knew he was wrong because he never once looked in my face after that if you were busy and had appointments I can respect it but you never once said I can’t do you at all today would you like someone else to service you I’m big on communication I’m big on Customer Service I’m...
Read moreI read a lot of reviews before going here and overall, I’m super happy! It seems like some of the negative reviews were very individual experiences.
I showed up at exactly 8:57 AM on a Friday with no appointment. They opened at nine on the dot and sat me immediately. But I will say that within a half hour the place had nine people waiting with only three technicians. So I could see some people getting a little frustrated with the wait.
My nail tech was Emily and she was so sweet and helpful. I wanted to dip nails but I wanted to really neutral colors so she actually picked out a couple extras from behind the counter that were not on the plastic display sheets and I found a neutral that I really loved.
It’s $40 for a dip powder but make sure *that if you want a manicure with it (where they trim your cuticles) you have to mention that separately. It’s $10. And you have to mention it before they start! *It’s not assumed that if you’re getting a dip polish that the manicure is included. *
Credit cards are fine with a 3% of charge for using it, which is pretty typical. Cash tips only. **
I saw another woman getting acrylics done, and they looked absolutely stunning . I also saw someone getting a pedicure and they’re very clean with hygiene with replacing the plastic baggie in the tubs and everything.
Overall, it seems like some of the negative reviews were individual experiences related to wait times but if you’re willing to stick it out, totally worth it. I will...
Read moreI've been here 2 times in total. My first time was a 10/10 everything was amazing. My second time was absolutely horrid. I went to the nail salon with my 2 month old baby, there was a sign on the door that said no children but I proceeded in as other children were in the salon. I patiently waited for service and breastfed my baby, when after a half an hour a male nail tech of the lgbt community approached me and told me no children were allowed. I exited the salon and sat in my car. I began to feel confused so I went back inside the salon and asked if I were being discriminated against because I was breastfeeding the tech said he was busy. I asked why was I asked to leave if there are other children in the salon and he said because the baby could cry. I told him I could cry abd would resume sitting in the waiting area to be serviced because that didn't make any sense. A women came in after me and when a woman tech became available they spoke to one another in their native language and approached the women who arrived after me. I left the nail salon extremely upset because I felt targeted for breastfeeding. The sign said no children, but there were other children in the salon. I never thought I'd experience such treatment especially from someone in the lgbt community who knows what it feels like to be a target. I will NEVER spend my hard earned money here again. The treatment...
