I moved here in June 2023 because it was advertised as a luxury building with great management. However, since I've lived here I've had flooding twice due to separate incidences (the refrigerator leaking and the kitchen sink not being sealed to the counter). During the first incident I was told by the front desk that there is no onsite maintenance on weekends and it will have to wait until Monday. Only after emphasizing the severity of the situation did they reach out to management. There have been multiple incidences of cigarette and weed smoke entering my unit from the vents even though this is a smoke-free building. I've been told multiple units have complained of the same thing yet after two months of this it's still not resolved. I was basically told by management that they there looked into it, didn't find anything, and there isn't much they can do. I asked to get out of my lease early since the smell permeates my entire apartment for days, the issue is still not resolved, and I was told this was a smoke-free building. The only resolution management offered was to move me to a unit next to the trash room or the stairwell (both not comparable to my current unit) even though there are multiple other units vacant OR I pay a fee equaling two months worth of rent in additional to current rent to break my lease. I received a notification from the front desk four days ago that I received a package, but when I went to retrieve it they I was told they have no idea where it is. There's a new apartment building being constructed across the street so there are plenty of other options in the area. Do yourself a favor and find some other place that treats its tenants better than Lincoln Square.
Update: An in-unit inspection was done a month after management was notified of the smoking and after being prompted by me as to what they are doing about it. I was home during the inspection and a man knocked on the door, opened it, stuck his head in, and closed the door. This is what they consider an inspection? I would think after multiple units complained of continuous smell of cigarettes and weed permeating their units and the hallways that management would do a more thorough investigation. In the end management concluded the "inspection" did not result in locating the source. The issues is still ongoing, but now it has fallen on deaf ears since management said they have done their...
Read moreNew management is absolutely horrible.. such a shame to see APG leave this property.. it’s the end of the summer and the grills outside don’t work.. Friday afternoon.. i invite my entire family over seasoned the meat prepped everything bring everything outside to the roof only to find all 4 Grills not working.. have had this issue before but all it took was a simple maintenance request to APG and within a few hours it was fixed.. these jokers have no idea what their doing obviously multiple residents i’ve talked to say they have submitted request and they’ve done nothing to fix it.. how you let the weekend come and not fix the grill which is a simple fix just need to turn the power and gas on they failed.. what’s the point of us paying $600 amenity fee for amenities that don’t work. Bozzuto lacks in communication even if they are having issues with the maintenance team or a specific amenity at the very least they could’ve communicated it VIA property wide email, they have done nothing.. all the reviews on this management team are right and i don’t plan on sticking around with them now managing the building.. google “Bozzuto property management reviews” and read them yourself they will single-handedly bring this building down.. horrible...
Read moreWe have lived at Lincoln Square for over a year and are so happy to call this our home. The amenities are absolutely amazing, along with the location, but the staff is really what makes living here so enjoyable. We cannot say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of each staff member. Everyone always does their job over and above and they are never too busy for you.
In particular, Stephen Fortune-Stewart needs to be recognized because he always does exactly that…goes out of his way to make sure all of our needs are met. He is extremely personable and quite a pleasure to chat with. You will always see him whenever there is something going on for the residents as we are slowly getting back to a “normal” lifestyle. Even if you just have a quick question, you can always pop in the office and he is always ready to assist.
We were already established here when Stephen was hired, however, he made it a priority to get to know the existing residents, as well as, the new tenants that he brought to Lincoln Square.
If you are ready to make that move, or just curious about the awesome Lincoln Square community, give Stephen Fortune-Stewart a phone call. You will be glad to have met him and may soon be calling Lincoln Square...
