Penn's Landing A hub of family-friendly activity throughout the year. Penn’s Landing is home to some of the city’s most popular seasonal parks, including Spruce Street Harbor Park and Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest and Summerfest. Plus, throughout the year, happenings and events like farmers markets, concerts, art exhibitions and more take place throughout the spaces at Penn’s Landing. Tying everything together: stellar views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the Delaware River and the Camden waterfront across the river in New Jersey.

One of the underrated places in Philly I would say. Get an ice-cream from Franklin Fountain and enjoy peaceful walk with your friends, you will like it. Enjoy the river, sunset and crowd. Situated along the walk is the small amusement park- like place that hosts ice skating in winter and roller skating in summer. You can even enjoy fireworks on New Year's eve taking place in the Delaware river. Parking is available on the bridge above or on street for $2/hr instead of on the dedicated parking lot which is costlier.
