Food was great and atmosphere was very fun but the workers were very sassy and grumpy. Any place that mentions to you they close at a certain time especially when that time is 45 minutes from when you got there is not ok, not only am I being rushed 45 whole minutes from close but now I’m feeling a pressure that’s making me not enjoy the products. I felt unwelcome.
Edit, they continued to press people as they came in and tried to make our personal experience better but by then it was to late and made us feel uncomfortable. The chai latte for our guest visiting Philly mentioned it tasted like brown water with foam on the top, I’m assuming the pace and the quality of the food was poor do to them pulling there phones out often to do phone things whatever it was.
Please do yourself a favor and skip this place the people working here will inevitably run this place into the ground if their high pricing doesn’t...
Read moreThere are probably 100+ cafes in old city. But Cuor di Caffè is a candidate for best.
After a few stops, I know it will be a staple experience for me. The owner and other staff are friendly, with great service.
I’m not a coffee drinker, but my addict friend guarantees this is good stuff. The teas are great, the food is excellent with fun variety in the crepes and paninis, and the atmosphere is really charming. You can also open up a chess board and play. Some other quiet 1 on 1 or solo games would be great. It just has that vibe.
Located near some of old city’s best features, and on the corner overlooking Penn’s Landing (including the new overpass park being built soon), Cuor di Caffè is in a prime spot! Can’t wait to see how it fits into this historic part of the city over the...
Read moreA solid new addition to the crowded coffee scene of central Philly. The espresso hit the right notes but didn’t challenge with more than a single flavor note from beginning to end. It is a dark roast and one that doubles down on deeper and chocolate notes that will be familiar in many traditional approaches. The atmosphere is a mixed bag that will work for some. Multiple TVs hanging on the walls is not was I was expecting, but there are other elements that are charming, not the least of which are the huge windows wrapping around the whole corner shop. I look forward to seeing how this shop matures in the...
