I went to this location to buy some furniture for my new home on January 18, 2021. The sales representative Mrs. Lorraine was excellent she went above and beyond to help me found the perfect set for my house. I also qualified for a credit of $10,000 and my total was $5,237.72. I put a down payment of $3,000 on my tab and thought the hard part was done. I receive a call stating that my dining room set was in stock on delivery will be on February 06. I'm thinking just in time for my daughter's Birthday which is on the 17th. That Saturday when the delivery team arrived they started unpacking my stuff in the STREET. They put the table base on the sidewalk bare, 4 chairs are stack in the street and they was missing two end chairs. The table is on the porch bare with NO COVERING, and they are missing my 2 piece China Cabinet. Once in the house I notice scratches on the chairs, table base and top. The chairs look like they stack something heavy on them because one chair had a huge indentation in the middle with the fabric twisted. The table base was missing pieces so it couldn't connect to the table top. I sent everything back and I request to have their delivery team to ship my furniture next time. February 20, I denied the shipment because it was the same team. They have left a bad taste in my mouth from the previous time. I then receive a call that my full order was in stock ( 3 piece sectional power recliner w/ chaise. 7 piece dining room set w/ 2 piece China ) was ready to be ship on the 27th. Bet. The same team arrived but this time they are handling the merchandise with such care but they don't have the dining room table only the 2 piece china. Huh. The sectional was filled with so much debris they said it came from the packaging. The China was missing 4 hinges so they couldn't put the glass piece in. March 7, was the next delivery day with a whole different delivery team and these guys did the same thing the first team did and unloaded and unwrapped the table in the street. They had six chairs but not the right end chairs I was piss sent it back and called the complaint in. Customer service told me that they will no longer come out again and they will drop the order. WHAT!!! I told them to come and get the China as well there is no point to have a china that isn't fully assembled without a table set, and my sectional is dirty as hell. Read moreMy experience with Raymour and Flanigan has been a bit disappointing. On April 3rd 2024 I put a deposit on one of your best and newest bedroom sets. We liked the associate that greeted us as we browsed through the store. We told her what we were looking for and she showed us a few Items including the one I put the deposit on. A few weeks later I called the store on 3 different occasions only to be told someone would return my calls, but no one ever did. On May 11th I returned to the store to make another payment only on find out the associate who helped us was no longer working there, not only that but I also wanted to tell her that we saw the bedroom set at a cheaper price. After not getting a return call and finding out the person longer worked there, I was considering just getting a refund and buying from another store due to the lack of communication, but I decided to continue with what I was purchasing. On May 26th I went into a different Raymour and Flanigan to make another payment only to learn that someone from the first store had voided my purchase. When I heard that it was voided, my first thought was “well, where is my money that I put on this bedroom set and why wasn’t I notified about my purchase being voided”. Again, another RED FLAG and I was thinking I need to be done with Raymour and Flanigan and get a refund. The manager on duty at this store said he can restore my purchase but by this time I’m very disappointed, he assured me he could fix the issue, so I let him. I have one more payment to make, but I still feel uneasy about this purchase also wondering how reliable they are with delivery if they don’t communicate well with their customers. I was also disappointed that now I have to pay a higher tax because I first purchased in a Raymour and Flanigan store with a 6% sales tax but had to have my purchase reinstated at a Raymour and Flanigan with a 8% sales tax.
