Updated Review Sep 27, 2024 Title: Mixed Experience with Dr. Christina Harview Rating: (3/5 stars) I have been seeing Dr. Lindsay Ackerman for approx 7 years, Recently the clinic advised us that she was no longer going to see us for our appointments. They set us up with Dr. Christina Harview My recent appointment with Dr. Christina Harview at Medical Dermatology Specialists Phoenix. While Dr. Harview and her medical assistant were pleasant, my overall experience was somewhat disappointing. Pros: Friendly and pleasant demeanor of Dr. Harview and the medical assistant Thorough skin cancer check Cons: Limited flexibility in addressing multiple concerns Ignored any other dermatologic issues that I had even after asking me if I had any concerns. During my visit, I hoped to discuss a couple of dermatological issues that had been bothering me since my last appointment. Especially after the Dr. asked me if I had any concerns. However, when i brought my concern up Dr. Harview presented me with what felt like an ultimatum, asking me to choose between a skin cancer check or addressing my other concerns. I opted for the skin cancer screening, which was conducted thoroughly. Unfortunately, this meant my other dermatological issues were left unaddressed. This approach differed from my previous experiences with Dr. Akerman, who would typically accommodate both the annual skin check and other dermatological concerns during yearly visits. While I appreciate the importance of the skin cancer screening, I left feeling that my overall dermatological care was incomplete

Read moreMy wife has some skin infection issue and I had to take her to the Specialist. It was a paradigm shift when we finally reached to Dermatology Office and was greeted by the Medical Assistant “Dianna” who took some basic details and just after a few minutes Dr. David Baltazar, the specialist came who talked about the issue my wife had. It was an #Excellent_Experience for us as we did not had to wait (as usually most doctors make patients to wait for over 30 mnts it was a #paradigm_shift when finally reached to Dermatology Office and was greeted by the Medical Assistant “Dianna” , very pleasing person , with very positive attitude, who took some basic details and just after a few minutes Dr. David Baltazar, the specialist, very humble - caring and very knowledgeable , came who talked about the issue my wife had. YES , I would say that Medical Dermatology needs to update the #correct_address on their website as we had to do a few times up & down in the same building to reach to the Dermatology Specialist office - we were little frustrated as the Front Desk of #other_doctors at different floors did not guide us properly but finally we reached the office of Dr. David Baltazar & met Dianna...
Read moreDr Harview is really nice and knowledgeable. Her assistants are also great. The only downside is that if they are short-staffed, they’ll have one doc cover for the other and try to do twice as many clients so everyone ends up waiting an hour (instead of cancelling anyone). I did notice people come in after me and get seen before me but I think that’s because they were seeing a different doctor. I’d rather have sat in the waiting room longer but instead they called me back into the doctors office and then I sat for another 25 minutes. Inntotal I think my apt was an hour late, even though I was early and did the paperwork ahead of time. So you may have a long wait but that’s just because they’re giving everyone a really thorough check up and don't want to rush anyone. The copay was $15 higher than I’m used to, but that could just be because it’s a specialist. I didn’t think the billing was shady like some have said on here. I’ll edit this if I notice any issues. Parking is free and there’s always parking. Facility is...
