I was going to get some fishing line for my new fishing pole that I was buying. But then I had no idea what kind of line I needed cause I don't know what kind line goes to what kind pole. I asked this person that worked there named Bill (in the fishing section of course) if I should use some line that I picked out and he was like no that is for fly fishing. So I was like ok 👍🏼 what kind should I use. He recommended a line that was not fly fishing and offered to put the line onto my pole. And I was like yes please that would be very kind of you. So shoutout to Bill the guy in fishing he was a hoot and a holler 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this store was extremely disappointing. The customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright rude. Instead of answering my questions or assisting me, the staff spoke in a dismissive tone and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply being there. Shopping should never feel uncomfortable, yet I left frustrated and unwelcome. With so many other businesses that value their customers, I cannot recommend this store. Respect and basic courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, this store lacks both.

Sportsman's Warehouse is the Walmart of a sporting world. I bought a camo brimmed hat that cost me less than $5, hard to say anything negative. Great staff, varied selection, the place for those who love the outdoors. They might not have a giant artificial hill full of stuffed carcasses, or a small pond, or a $100,000 gun room, or an in-building restaurant - but they have what you need when you need it at great prices.

Nice place overall, they had exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I gave this place a 2 star rating is because false advertisement. So I seen a Abu Garcia rod and reel combo on their STORE WEBSITE which was currently on sale for $69.99 and the original price was $99.99. Before I drove 15 miles from South Phoenix all the way to their warehouse, I gave them a call to verify if they did have that item I was looking for for that sale price and they told me yes and that they had in stock. So I headed down to their facility. When I got there I was impressed with how well organized and stocked their store was kept. One of the Employees Asked me if I needed help, didn't get his name, he directed me exactly to the item I needed. I asked him if it was on sale and showed him the website price, He proceeded to scan the item barcode and it came up showing the sale was good for $69.99 so I agreed to go ahead and take it. As I was getting ready to check out the cashier guy didn't get his name either but I'm sure it's on the receipt which I still have, was a bit rude but having a miserable employee who doesn't greet you or stands there looking miserable never phases me. As he rang up the item it showed $99 .99 plus tax was my total so I told him that this item was on sale for the price shown on their store website and he just told me NO it's not so I pulled it up on my phone and showed him and he says that the store website shows it's unavailable in stock, which in reality it was in stock there were several more of the rod and reel combos on the rack. I told him the employed at help me scanned it and it showed it was on sale and he told me he was wrong so I went and found that employee and took him up front and told him that I was being charged the original price and all the employee said was "oh sorry my bad" and walked away. I went there to purchase an item which was around my budget I had on hand otherwise I wouldn't have traveled all that way for a false advertisement ad. Overall I am happy with the item I purchased but if it was clearly stated that I would be paying the original price I would have went with something else that was around my budget price or would have just went somewhere else. Overall the store has everything you need but I will not be returning back, I will continue to give Bass Pro shops...

One star and I use to like the store??? hmmmm.... Well, the store on 27th Ave is going down hill and fast. The first time I walked in this store (right after they opened) I got teary eyed when I walked through the doors. I thought "I have found home." Historically I had liked it MUCH better than Cabela's and Bass Pro who are the Wal-Mart of sporting goods stores. I was hoping to look at some optics and I waited and I waited and I waited and NO ONE EVER came over to assist me. They were more interested in showing other "cool items" and if a guy came to the counter with a pretty girl well then I no longer exited. Do I need to bring my wife in to get assistance??? That is not the kicker for me though. I have purchased A LOT from this store after signing up for their rewards program. I was letting the "rewards" accumulate for the past several months and I saw a new item that I was interested in so I thought I'd see how my rewards were adding up. I just logged in to the site and guess what.... a big fat ZERO was listed as my rewards. The site said I needed to register a card. I already registered a card months ago. I used their typed instructions to do it. Now before you think "this dude must have done something wrong" let me tell you, I am the director of and IT department, have an IT degree and filling in a website that is supposed to be so easy my 82 year old mother could do it. I called the number listed on the site that said "someone would assist me" and guess what? Yep, CLOSED. Nowhere could I find mention of customer support hours. SO, unless they fix this and QUICK.... I no longer have a "home." It is back to Amazon and a locally owned shop for me. My visa cards pay their rewards and are available 24/7 to assist if/when necessary. Not to mention, they don't care whether or not my...

This place is ridiculous! Went online made sure that a rifle was in stock at the 27th Ave. location. I also called to verify that there was a rifle there before I spent the money and placed the order. After placing the order while on the phone with the worker Who sounded like he hated his job. An hour later, I called to see when I am able to pick up my order and they told me that that item is not in stock and that I would have to wait up to a week for pick up. Even though the Chandler location has one in stock! Had I had known that there was 6 in stock in Chandler I would’ve placed it there And probably got better Customer Service as well. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Customer Service trying to figure this out seeing if I can move the order to Chandler and they said no, and it would take up to 10 business days for my refund. I decided to keep the order at 27th Ave. And called a few days later to check on my order and they told me the 27th I would be able to pick up. I also called a day before the 27th to verify and they told me yes the truck will arrive in the morning. I called the morning of and now they’re pushing it out to maybe the 28th. Nobody at this location knows what they’re talking about. I spoke to the manager, Seth. Who said that there’s nothing they can do besides wait for my order and that he can’t make one for me! Very rude on his part, said that we passed the order and I have two options to either cancel or wait for it. Very upset at the way sportsman’s warehouse operates. There’s a reason why their prices are so cheap because their Customer Service sucks. Highly don’t recommend coming to...
