A very entertaining and eventful show with a wide spectrum of content to enjoy and be entertained by, definitely family friendly. The cast and dancers are all very talented individuals it was hard at times because I felt the need to watch the beautiful choreography as well as the musicians. Music wise there's definitely something for everyone whether your interested in older country, newer country, gospel, or comedic skits. The entire shown is recorded live and sold after the performance. You'll have a chance to meet the actors and performers after the show to talk for a minute and take photos. The only reason I am only giving this 4 stars is due to the pricing if you go with a large group it's very important to account for the length of your trip and how much of your budget you're willing to spend as snacks and drinks are costly.
Notable: -The building is located on a hill and choosing to walk there from a near by hotel may, while possible, give you more of an exercise than expected -Photography and video recording of the show is not allowed at any point -There is a 15 minute intermission half way through for restroom and bathroom breaks so you don't have to miss the performance -The front of the building is a very good photo op as one end has the large sign which illuminates after dark. -The show is very much religiously (specifically Christian) inclined while not a bad thing if you are not comfortable with those topics or simple aren't looking for that it's important to consider as there are more shows near the...
Read moreTheater was not even half full.Sat on the end of row f with my walker. Most of it was in with me, part of it was to the side of my seat. Sat there for an hour..45 minutes before show stared and 15 after lights went out and show started, at which point an older lady usher came and asked if she could move my walker..I said no, you can move me. So we proceeded up the aisle toward the back. She was swinging a flashlight to light the way, but swung it way back into my eyes blinding me, so that I almost stumbled into my walker, and then almost lost my balance on the first steps. I understand why the walker needed to be out of the aisle. What I don't understand is why it took an hour for an usher to say anything? Why not during the first 45 minutes before the show started? Why was someone not doing their job then? Why wait until the lights went out and 15 minutes into the show? Why didn' the usher checking our tickets and showing us our seats say anythinv? And who taught the usher to swing the flaslight back and up, totally blinding the patron? My only conclusion-incompetence. And a less than professional staff and proper treatment by them of a disabled veteran or any person with disabilities.
As for the show..the first few songs we could not distinguish the words. Sounded like one blurred together blob. Not sure if music was too loud or soundboard was off. Performers did their best. But the show was lackluster from what...
Read moreSo, the good. Beautiful theatre common areas, outfits on cast are great and change every 5 minutes. In addition the cast was upbeat and smiling the whole time. It was a ‘nice’ evening. The mediocre: There were 6 singers: 2 ladies, 2 men, and 2 children. Three of them were ‘average’ , two were ‘okay’, and one was ‘nails on the chalkboard’. The dancers were good enough to keep you distracted with the multiple outfit changes and the smiling faces; had they not been there to offer the distraction, that would have been a get up and leave early kind of night. THE BAD: The length of the show was excessive. Intermission should have been the end. Music selection was not good. Leave it at that. There Is one singer in the show that it’s not ready and should not be in the show as a lead performer. It is taking away from the others, and glossing over what would’ve been a more enjoyable night. I’m not sure why they are forcing it, but other reviews have commented the same, and would be better off in a background or support role. Overall? It’s a nice evening as long as you’re not expecting too much and don’t compare it to the other shows on the strip. Since they let the kids in for free, better under 12, they’ll enjoy it and if your children to joy meant more important to you, that will make the night a...
