Updating. Let me preface this with the fact that myself and my teen are both disabled, and this was made aware to the owner when we made reservations....we were just moved to the 3rd room in 3 days, 1st because the internet didn't work the room. So I had to repack all our luggage and food and haul it down to the other end of the building. I was willing to let that go, then about 30 to 40 min ago I took a couple of photos of the cockroach crawling on the wall by our open luggage. Needless to say, I was horrified, and instead of going to bed as I was prepared I once again had to repack our luggage and food as we were once again moved to the other end of the building. I will be talking to management in the morning, after I get our food into the 3rd fridge I'm going to try to sleep and not worry about the bugs that might be crawling in this room!!!!! Never AGAIN!!! UPDATE... After speaking with the day manager and showing her our reservation DID say we are handicapped, and showed her the picture of the roach, she told me I was making a scene and she was the one raising her voice.... she then told me in front of my child to 'GET THE HELL OF HER PROPERTY OR SHE WOULD CALL THE POLICE. I said. Your property has roaches and I'm making a scene??!! So as we left I made sure to let everyone know, to check their luggage for roaches because they will multiple with only 1!!!! I've NEVER been treated like that, I'm sure Wyndham would not want to be represented by someone cussing at the patrons!! I was only refunded 1 night, I feel like my whole stay should be refunded, on top of all the problems she was NOT hospitable as their sign says. I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN A REFUND IS THE 17TH. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY FAMILY HERE Mon April 8th, I was never comped for anything you may say you did but I have bank records that show you DID NOT. ALSO, I warned the guest after YOUR FRONT DESK "manager" raised her voice at me and my child. You all are delusional, the cockroach 🪳 was in the wall on my last night, and you moved us to another room, you did not even offer to comp me until the next morning. I did come to the front desk to show the lady the photos, above, that is when she caused a scene. Anyway, you all are a joke and lasts and you're place is disgusting. So thanks but no thanks to that REPLY OF LIES.

Hotel personnel: when we checked in, the man checking us in was busy talking to another employee. He made us wait until he was finished before giving us his attention. I wouldn’t have minded if the conversation was work related and immediate but it was neither. However when we walked by the front desk the next morning, the woman working was cheerful, professional and pleasant. Pool: when we wanted to go in the pool, it was filled with kids and there was a handful of kids going in and out of the pool area. When we didn’t have time to go in the pool it was quiet. Location: the Pigeon Forge “strip” is so busy! Staying in a hotel on the north end of “the strip” was nice in that it was easier to go north from the hotel. The only time we dared go south was when we were leaving in the morning. There is no stop light at this intersection and so going south mid day would be tedious. We were right next to Dunkin donut and the Local Goat restaurant (very popular), and across the street from the titanic. Breakfast: packaged oats and grits, apples and one morning bananas, cereal, yogurt, make your own waffles, eggs and sausage, (one morning there was also biscuits and gravy), toast and some kind of mini muffin or donut hole. Juice, milk and coffee. Rooms: the beds were comfortable, the pillows ok, water pressure good, toilet worked well, everything looked clean. Issues—I think there is a design flaw with the fridge. We had the same kind at a different hotel that was full of ice. This one wasn’t quite as bad but it froze our fruit and veggies and our water, carbonated water and milk. You must keep delicate foods in the bottom drawer. We were also having a slight issue with the air conditioner. We had it on constant fan and it would stop in the middle of the night. It also seemed to struggle with cooling the room from time to time. We reported these problems so hopefully they will get looked at. At certain times of the evening it seemed like we could hear more people in the hallway but at night the hotel really quieted down. Parking: we had plenty of parking spots so there were no issues there.

Our first hotel we checked Into was in gatlinburg( travelodge by Wyndham). That place was so dirty and disgusting. Ended up getting a refund even though it was a Prepaid non refundable booking feom a hotel booking site. You can go see my review on their Google maps review. We tried another hotel( the americana) people ahead of us were turning in their just rented rooms for being dirty and unclean so we walked out. We drove down the street and saw ramada Inn which I was familiar with the chain because we knew the owners of one that once existed near where we lived. Was always clean and nice so we gave it a try. We explained the situation about the other 2 places with gentleman at the front desk and without us asking he gave us a room key on the first floor to check out to make sure it was acceptable to us. The second we opened up the door, you could smell the cleanliness of the room. I Iike the temperature cool to cold and it was. It only took about a minute to decide we'll take a room here. I didn't even know how much the room cost. When we signed the paperwork I asked the price and when he told me I was shocked at how low it was. I expected it to be 2 to 2 1/2 times the price. As we were leaving the desk to get our bags to settle in the gentleman also said they had a free full breakfast between 7 and 10 am, which was awesome. A low-priced room and free breakfast. We stayed 5 days and had breakfast every morning. our room was near the middle entrance on the first floor and we mostly got parking close to the door. It was a pleasant quality experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Our length of stay was 5 nights from JULY 30TH to AUGUST 4TH 2023 this year.

We were coming with family and had requested our rooms be connecting. But at check in, I found out that the rooms were several rooms away from each other. When I asked if we could be connected the guy at the front looked through the computer for a few minutes. A lady came up behind him and said “if you can’t find anything just tell her we sold out.” So he said “we sold out, I’m sorry”

Our in laws decided to join us and were already on their way. They stopped at the hotel a few hours later to see if they had anything available and they were able to book them.

I’m glad they got in, but was a little thrown off as to why I was told they sold out when they didn’t. I can understand if there just aren’t two rooms next to each other. I would appreciate honesty.

Check in was very slow. After a long travel I would have hoped it be quicker. I had two kids under 3 that were tired from the long car ride. Filling out every bit of our vehicles information on that piece of paper was annoying. Would be easier to do it during the online booking process to speed things up.

Rooms were fine and clean. In the shower the cold was really hot and the hot was cold. Once I figured it out, no problem. I liked the shower but a tub would have been more convenient with the kids, we managed. Toilet didn’t flush well the whole stay, so we had to call maintenance 2x. Second time they just sent my husband back with a plunger lol.

We did not have house keeping during our stay, per our request. When we did request more towels, they were delivered promptly.

Breakfast and the pool were the best parts. There was something different at breakfast for each day.

Location was good and parking was also good.

A little noisy outside our room with it being on the main floor with traffic to the lobby, but a sound machine fixed that, so we slept well.

If I would have had a better experience at the front desk I would have given...
