I had to book this hotel in a rush after my bank denied payment to my first choice due to it being possibly fraudulent. No biggie. It was cheaper so I was ok with that and it seemed to be ok otherwise. ||After driving 11+ hours to get there by myself, I arrived early evening and was exhausted. I went to my room and upon turning on the tv to relax, was asked to set up the tv to watch it! It took me at least 20 minutes or more to be able to watch anything. Then as I was doing that, I noticed movement on the wall that turned out to be a stink bug casually wandering around on the wall till I wrangled it up and tossed it over the balcony. ||||Later, I left for dinner and came back to the tv having lost all the connections I had set earlier and had to go through it all over again. This problem with the tv continued the whole 4 days I was there. It got to the point where I was afraid to turn it off and if I did, prepared myself to have to deal with it all over again. ||||Then there’s the heat lamp in the bathroom. Long story short, I turned it on once and it didn’t turn off by itself. I called the front desk the next morning at 7 am and was told maintenance didn’t show up till 8 am to which I replied that it could possibly be a safety issue and that I was leaving for the day AND didn’t want anyone in my room to which the desk said, “okay,” so it ran all day! ||||I had to have maintenance come up|| and look into it when I got back in mid afternoon. Thank god it didn’t burn the place down. ||||Then to add insult to injury, on 10/23/24 prior to going to bed, I made the mistake of washing my face with the provided soap amenity which is not my normal routine as I never use soap. However, being I used the two makeup remover amenity pads previously and didn’t want to get makeup on the towels, I used the soap. ||||Next morning, my face had a rash under my eyes, around my nose and cheeks. The soap I’d used gave me a reaction. ||I immediately called the desk to talk to the manage but was told she “wouldn’t be in till 8-10 am.” I told the girl it was imperative that I speak to the manager and she said she would send the manager an email. After a few minutes, I called back again to tell her that it was important and I wanted to give her my phone number for the manager to call me. I then went downstairs to the desk so that someone could see the rash On my face in case it started to fade before the manager got there. The girl that was there was not the one that I spoke with on the phone but told me again that the manager would be there at 8:30 so I went back to my room. At 8:45 AM, I went back downstairs at this time, the manager was there. I told her what happened and she began making excuses, telling me that she has sensitive skin and takes her own soap wherever she goes. I told her that I never use soap on my face except for this time so as not to get make up on the towels. She went to say that she did not know, whether or not, I had a reaction or not. I asked to be compensated for my lousy time at the hotel. She then told me that she could not do that. Nor did she offer up any other suggestions to rectify what had happened. ||After everything I had experienced at this hotel, you would think that she would have compensated me in some manner. I will never go back to that hotel, and I will keep telling people what had happened to me And will look into legal actions. The rash stayed with me into the late evening And had made my face, discolored, puffy, and painful the whole day.||Good luck should you decide to stay in...

From check-in to checkout, the experience was smooth and the location couldn’t be better—Right in the heart of the action!|The indoor pool and waterslide were an Absolute Hit! We must have went down that thing over 20+ times!! Yes, the chlorine was a little strong, but that didn’t stop us from having a splash-tastic time. The smaller pool (baby pool) only a foot deep was a lot colder than the bigger pool. 🏊♂️|🛁 The in-room jacuzzi? TOTAL Vibe. The perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, and Fun!! |The room was cozy and the bed was super comfortable. Easy to fall asleep and stay asleep. We did, upon arrival, have a couple of unexpected ant visitors around the nightstand and bathroom, but once handled, they didn’t return.|The game room had some cool options, sadly, only half the machines were out of order—including one of the token machines. Bit of a bummer, but still fun for a quick arcade run! We had to keep going back to the front desk and asking for our token that the machine took from us… Still fun though, and thanks to our skills we were able to win some pretty cool prizes from the crane machines during our stay. We spent $40 on the arcade and $20.00 equals 100 tokens. An average game takes 4 Tokens.|☕ Breakfast time was both a treat and a heads-up lol!! The buffet (across the street at their other building) only takes the voucher that you get from the Lodge between certain Hours, the One day. However it was packed with choices—over 4 kinds of pancakes, French toast sticks, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, grits, cereal—you name it! Even toppings for whatever you decide to make or create. Just remember to bring your own drinks—the breakfast voucher only covers food, and drinks can cost up to $12 for just a chocolate milk and two beverages. 😅|Also our Waiter was jiffy on the spot with the coffee refills!! |As for the overall Price, we found it reasonable for all the amenities and location. I mean it’s right in the Heart of Pigeon!! |In the breakfast building there is a cute little gift shop too! My Husbands from Israel and they had a Section dedicated To Supporting Israel! LOVE IT!! They had cute smokies and Christian products, that I enjoyed buying from… great Gift Options!! |Plenty of Parking!! So much parking!! Great views from the Balcony. There is also a gym!! |Overall, we had a FANTASTIC time, and while there were a few hiccups,(like the indoor pool getting shut down due to storms) the good far outweighed the bad.
