Edited: I have noticed some positive changes since I posted my previous comment. I think that there might be some genuine intention to improve the business and customer relationship. If I continue noticing this improvement, I will take down my review. I have also improved rating from 1 star to 2 star. Best wishes for your business and Happy Diwali! I agree with most one star reviews. I usually do not rate anyone, but this one compelled me.

(1) Lady at the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional to customers, especially to Indians. By the way, her son (who is still young) seems to be more polite and professional to me. I guess generation difference?

(2) True, they do not have price for most products, and the ones they do, it is all confusing because everything seems to be mixed up. Besides prices are hand-written or outdated.

(3) When I brought this matter to her, she said, "Oh, it is because we have so much products coming every week, and it is hard for us to mark them". Please work harder or hire someone to do the job, but do not make your customers suffer or write bad reviews like this one.

(4) I told her politely that if customers keep asking you to check the price, it would bother you and distract when you are dealing another customer. She replied, "No, it does not bother me at all". I said OK, and then checked price for a few unmarked products. One time she seemed bugged and the other time she said, "You can check the price as everything is marked there". So, you say you do not feel bothered, but you do.

(5) You should not treat your customers like this, especially in this this country!

This little place has lots of great little gems inside, especially if you're looking for specialty Indian food items. The owners are kind and always make sure my son gets a Tiger Pop when we check out 🐅 He LOVES going there more than I do at this point! I'm a sucker for the Idlis and Coconut Chutney and the Spinach Pakora. Since I live further away now I buy a LOT more when I go, which always seems to stimulate conversations between myself and other customers or the guys behind the counter. I never had a bad experience with this business until my last purchase made on June 1st, 2024. I purchased about 10 packages of Samosa pastry with expiration date of December 31, 2024. They have been in the freezer (as recommended) since the date I purchased. I opened the package on July 2, 2024 just to find out that every single one of the product was filled with mold (Huge Health Hazzard). Unfortunately, I didn't save my receipt so I can't return and I don't live close enough even to dispute a bad product.
