Ormsby Community Recreation Center — Attraction in Pittsburgh

Pool is open summer 2023! 5$ for adults free for children..not sure what ages are considered children but my daughter is seven and it’s free for her. Swimsuit changing area not so clean so wear shoes to shower in and change clothes! Park nearby is a plus so my kids play before and after the pool closes! Parking is not so good! It’s the south side😩I always bring a blanket..was told no snacks only after the fifth time I was there but maybe it depends on the people who are there..also no floats for children! Squirt guns and pool noodles are ok however. Bring a blanket and a drink for sure though. Don’t be surprised to see a fat bitter mom (not in a swimsuit) directing her children from the poolside while giving your kids the side eye🙄just ignore her and enjoy the pool🤣it’s public from 1-7 so get there early to make a day of it! Lifeguards are young so watch you children close!! No diving boards though😩Summer is almost over so..Good luck!!...
