We visit on the first Sunday of September, always. There aren't as many apple varieties available at this time, but there are certainly enough to make the visit worthwhile. They also have pears and berries available. The Bakeshop is magical, offering so many unique treats (slice of Dutch sour cream apple-berry pie, anyone?). We've also visited in October and bought plenty of specialty frozen pies and served them for Thanksgiving. The atmosphere is refreshing, fun, happy, exciting and peaceful. The Fall/Winter time is the busiest time of the year.
