Jack in the Box — Restaurant in California

99% of the time we try to come here, they have a yellow wet floor cone blocking their drive thru. It doesn't matter if it's day or night. There are rarely times when it's open and when they are they take forever to make an order. It seems like the employees are under the influence. The food is still good and I'm always disappointed to see that they're closed. Before, they used to have their online ordering available thru their app and I would try to come pick up the food but the drive thru is blocked off and they lock their front doors and when they finally decide to respond to the knocking, they don't have a good answer as to why they're closed when their ordering is available and their hours are listed as 6am to 10pm. I recently noticed that they turned off their online ordering since I think this has happened to other customers. Not sure if they're just looking to work for free by blocking the drive thru and online ordering so they don't actually have to work but the owner needs to know that they should just close down if they're not serious about running a fast...

Went through the drive thru and was ordering an extreme sausage breakfast sandwich, among other things. The woman taking my order said she would ask if they were doing breakfast(THEY DO BREAKFAST ALL DAY) so that was weird. Then when I get to the window she says they're out of eggs, so I ask if they can make it without the eggs, planning to make an egg when I get home. She goes and asks the cook, then comes back and says they'll do it. I get home and there is an egg on the sandwich! This confirms a theory I've had for a long time: THEY LIE WHEN THEY JUST DONT WANT TO COOK SOMETHING! They have been doing this for years with grilled chicken(they are never out, nobody orders grilled chicken, but its more difficult to cook so they say they're out).

They lie so they don't have to cook. But this is Jack In The Box's fault for their "competitive pay"(THIS MEANS THEY PAY THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE, NOT MORE). They need to make their business worth working at.

TERRIBLE. I made the mistake of resorting to this place because I missed McDonald's breakfast by 15 minutes. I ordered in advance through the app and waited literally half an hour in the drivethrough for my food! Wasted the entire duration of my lunch just sitting 10 feet from the window. When I got it, the breakfast sandwich was extremely dry, with one single pathetically tiny folded piece of bacon and the so called ham was so thin it was literally translucent. After all that they also fogot to include any syrup for my french toast sticks. The coffee was so undrinkably sweet it was basically just syrup and ice, and all this was more expensive than mcdonalds! I paid almost 20 bucks to waste my time and have food that was so dry it couldve been believably cooked on the sidewalk outside. Maybe that's what took so long. If you're desperate or ignorant enough to choose to eat here, do yourself a favor and stick to the eggrolls and nothing else, or...
