T.J. Maxx — Local services in Diamond Springs

We visited the store tonight and were looking at jewelry when an older lady working near the jewelry came up to tell us to not make a mess. We weren’t making any messes at all. She then said “you’ll understand when you have a job” in a very condescending tone. We awkwardly laughed and said “yeah.” She then said “you will.” We both have full time jobs and were spending our own money at the store. Then, I grabbed a pair of earrings to put into my cart, when she told me “don’t take anything.” I was confused because I thought maybe she meant I needed to check out jewelry in a specific place, but she was actually accusing me of stealing. From this point on I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. I was disappointed because it was my first time in a TjMaxx and it makes me never want to go back. Maybe your employee should be nicer next time and not accuse people of not having jobs...

Firstly...and foremostly...I will start by saying..."Once Upon A Time"...way back in the (dinosaur days)... I also was employed at TJMaxx. That being said, I am posting this not only as your favorite Google Guide Extraordinare... but also as your "Former Top Notch", TJM Insider" a.k.a (former employee)...Now...all credentials aside...lol...allow me to recommend TJMaxx, at any location, not only because they set a higher standard when it comes to their friendly & knowledgeable service (in all departments) also, the neat & tidy well organized garment racks are not only a plus but rare and hard to find in comparable stores (:won't name names:)...I could go on but why don't you just hurry off to your nearest TJMaxx Store your own dang self & prove me wrong...Maybe... I just might see ya...

Today i had gone into the TJ Maxx in Placerville, CA. Went in to purchase a top. While waiting in line, noticed that the there was makeup caked on the white blouse. Not sure how I missed it, but I did. I asked for a discount the very sweet cashier agreed that there should be a discount given. She went to speak with the manager on duty who said no discount. Tell her to go wash it….if it doesn't cone out then she can bring it back and we will give a partial credit. What?!?! I buy at full price and then get partial credit because, get this, because it had been washed. As someone who makes a career in customer service Trina Has a lot to learn!! Very...
