Although the ferry ride was fine, uneventful, and comfortable, the scheduling process over the phone was a bit frustrating. We spoke to a lady named Ruth and she was somewhat helpful but also laughed at us because we didn’t understand the process very well since we are not from Washington, which didn’t make my wife and i feel too great. After giving us the information we thought we needed, she failed to emphasize the importance of getting there 30 minutes ahead of time. Although we should have known, this was our first time. So our reservation did not count for anything and we lost our reservation. We were placed on standby and ended up being the very last vehicle to make it onto the ferry. Thankfully we made it without a problem but we did lose our reservation and it was a tiny bit stressful. I’m writing this review to remind others to make sure that the departure and arrival locations are correct, and that you arrive 30 minutes ahead of the departure time. We know for next time!...
Read moreThere's only two things wrong with taking this ferry. Number one, the ferry is extremely small and if it's a busy day and you don't have a reservation you can just assume that you'll be waiting for 2-3 ferry's. Number 2, at the moment they only have the Kennewick running and have been fixing the second ferry for an unreasonable amount of time since 2018. This means that when you don't catch the ferry that you'll be sitting there for at least an hour to two hours because there's only one ferry.

So I purchased and waited… I did not make the 4:15 even though I would have been standby car number 8 and he said they always hold 10 standby slots for every ferry ride. The people in the dock were also unhelpful and rude when people approached them for information.
