Abacus Gallery — Attraction in Portland

I saw a metal sculpture on their website that was out of stock. I contacted the stores directly to see if they had any in stock, I wanted to purchase 2 for Christmas gifts. Nicholas from the Portland location, assisted me and he was wonderful! They didn’t have any in stock but he offered to contact the company to order it for me. Nicholas ordered them and he shipped them to me so I could have them in time for Christmas. Incredible customer service by the staff, I also talked to others employed at this location. Extremely disappointed in my experience here. Came here with my family and my mom overheard the front desk people whispering about worrying she was going to steal something. This was with a blonde woman and dark haired woman. My mom stepped out since this was making her uncomfortable. My family and I are people of color, I don’t know why they chose to treat us this way. I found out about this after I purchased something and even when trying to return it, they only wanted to offer store credit.
