EDIT: The owners have finally taken care of the gnat issue. Glad I can come back to this location and enjoy my beer and food. They do leave the door open sometimes during the summer which does encourage bugs, but it hasn't been an issue. Thank you for resolving this.
I really enjoy the beer and the food here. The staff is always incredible friendly and I enjoy the arcade games they have as well. However, it feels as though the management isn't doing much about the gnat problem in the bar. I'm having to ask for extra coasters in order to spare my drink of dead fruit flies landing in them immediately. Constantly waving them away from my food, drinks, and face while trying to enjoy my experience is really aggravating. Especially considering it's winter when this shouldn't be as bad of an issue as it is in the summer. I'm fairly understanding of a few here or there with the drinks, but it's overwhelming and quite frankly feels unsanitary. I really hope this changes soon as I really like coming to...
Read moreThis should be an amazing place beer large selection video games that you can play along with pinball machines but this is my experience. I rate this place very low for one reason They have plants in their brewery in the place that's covered in fungus flies to the point that when I ordered my flight as soon as I sat down at my table I already had two flies in my beer. Fungus flies are a simple thing caused by over-watering of plants and are easy to get rid of. The fact that the place can't take the effort to get rid of them while serving beer makes it clear that I should not come back here. This is not summer time this is the middle of winter. On top of that when I ordered my flight I had to ask when the flight was handed to me which beers were which I seem like the bartender was bothered to even speak with me. If you don't like flies then I would choose...
Read more$3 corkage fee for opening and pouring a $9 can of beer.
Employee did the right thing and warned me before they poured it. Corkage fees are set by owners. I chose to order an imperial stout in the can since the brewery didn't have one on tap. Setting such a high corkage fee is optional and this is me providing feedback. Next time I'll just vote with my feet.
Response to comment:
There’s zero reason to set corkage high for on premise drinking. I’m enjoying a beer you would sell me to drink at home, but in your space. Charge me for what it takes to sell the beer (the price), clean a glass, and the space I’m taking up. Don’t make me pay way more just because I’m drinking it there...
