I would love to give the Franz Bakery Outlet 5 stars. The prices are okay, but along the back wall is where the deals are. It's usually an assortment of bread, doughnuts, cookies, and specialty breads that have expired that day. So when you buy off the back wall, you'll never get stale items. The reason for only 3 stars is because of their employee Donna, who was working February 25th at 1:45 pm, and she's worked many times when I've shopped there on other weekday afternoons. She's rude, and she always treats me like I'm an idiot. Like today, I went in to grab some cherry pies, but they were out. I said something like, " Man, those cherry pies are popular. I was in here yesterday, and I should have bought more. Donna told me very condescendingly that the pies were gone yesterday, so I said it must have been the day before. She rudely told me it was Saturday because she remembered me. But it was the way she was looking at me when she said it. Like I was dumb or stupid because I couldn't remember what day I'd been in the store. I was just diagnosed with ADHD at 46 years old. Plus, I've always had problems with my memory. This employee Donna didn't say, "Thank you, and have a nice day." To me, but she sure did say it to each person in a group of 4 tĥat made a purchase after me. I really don't know what I did to Donna that made her dislike me so much. I really hope that Franz's HR Department has a little one-on-one with her. She doesn't deserve...

AND THEN YOU GET TO THE REGISTER ❤ Customer service says so much more than they hired a good one. It says how the company cares for their customers, the pride in the company dhows, but moreso if represents how the company feels about it's own employees. Example: I stopped by for a couple snacks the other day and that cashier was genuinely caring and helpful. I felt like it was my favorite auntie packing me a lunch before an important day. She even made sure I had a spoon just in case I got hungry before getting to where I was going, and put an extra spoon- because ambrosia wont taste right on a potatoe salad spoon! And SHE reminded ME that I spent enough for a free item! When building a community, food is the glue....
