ABSOLUTE torture chamber seats. I had to leave during intermission and was jacked up for 3 days from one hour in that chair. Excruciatingly not well, as it forces you to hunch cause the seats (which are far smaller than airplane seats) are old and curved/worn in a horrendous lumbar arche that makes you sit hunchback. Then, when a lady sat next to me, I had to shift slightly to the opposite side and began to get numb, sharp pains, cramping, rib shifting, and ultimately nausea from it all. I didn't think I was gonna make it to the intermission. It was no joke, and it wasn't fun. Now, the performance was spectacular, and I wish I could have stayed, but I really didn't have a choice. IF YOU GO: Get box seats cause you get a cheap chair, but it's all yours, and you have two arm rests. The chair also moves as it's just a dining room chair but priceless. Sorry to be a pooper, but it was what it...

Criminal Customer Service! If there would be any exceptions to the "no refunds, no cancellations" ticket policy, you'd think the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GROUNDING AIRPLANES carrying passengers to the city/venue would be one of them. Nope! Portland'5 Centers for the Arts basically said "tough luck, we're keeping your money." Way to be stand up about the business you're conducting. Way to value your customers. Btw, every other organization effected by this international incident were very understanding and accommodating - go figure, they actually want people to use their services in the future. I, for one, will NEVER visit this venue run by the most unethical, unforgiving, greedy hucksters I've ever encountered. Thanks for only compounding the disappointment of not making the trip and the concert by ripping us off!...

Terrible experience after buying tickets. I wanted to move my tickets back one row and buy an additional ticket for a friend. I tried calling them by phone multiple phone but got disconnected every time after waiting 20+ minutes to connect to a representative.

I tried emailing as well, where they'd give me a short response and tell me to contact them by phone (which again, doesn't work). After 3 weeks of attempting to contact them they finally emailed me and told me they don't allow ticket changes under any circumstances (even if you're trying to buy one more ticket and the tickets you're exchanging for are the same price?).

It took multiple unanswered emails, dropped phone calls, and weeks of trying to get this response. One of the worst customer...

This theater and amazing! The combination vintage vibes, huge space, and old timey bar setup make sit a perfect place to visit for a night out. The staff were so accommodating and knowledgeable. They helped me find my seats and were very friendly. I saw the last NatGeo Live there and had a great time. They have bars in the first couple levels that you can get food or cocktails at while waiting for your show. And the chairs in the actual theater were very comfortable. This location was within walking distance from popular hotels in Portland but you can easily Uber there if needed. The whole experience was fun and I would do it again. Great for adults and kids.

Really enjoyed the Wooden Dimes production. The first act was classical, graceful and emotional, second act was proactive, lively and dramatic. Wooden dimes was thematic with a clear story line and great use of props. Wonderfully trained ballet company! As an aside, unless you're near sighted, the second balcony is not a bad place to be seated, even if you're on the ends of the row. The side seats aren't bad either. It provides a great panoramic view for you to watch the things happening simultaneously. The lowest seating I'd choose is first balcony.

Went on a school field trip here and the place is enormous. I didn't know this existed here and it's a gorgeous place. We were assigned to the 3rd level balcony and it was really great seats. You can see the faces and their expressions of the performers. I would visit again, and my son and his class had an amazing time. The staff was friendly, kind, and patient with all the schools visiting at the same time. Thank you for a great experience!
