What a fun way to support local artists. Just go!
2nd update: My kids still love coming (at least once a week) and we found there are hardly any wait times during the week and short wait times on the weekend. We call ahead if we have a group of more than 4 just to give a heads up but havenât seen a long wait times in ages b
Update: Wonderwood has turned into a magical mini-golf adventure and itâs amazing.
9 fun and creative holes filled with all your favorite characters from the land of Wonderwood.
My 3 and 5 year old absolutely loved it, despite the somewhat high level of difficulty on a number of the holes.
There are a couple holes with tall ramps they couldnât get the ball up and over but that didnât bother them one bit.
There was a 3 hour wait list the first day (Sat afternoon) we tried to go but when we came back Sunday morning it was only 20 minutes.
There is also a really fun cafe next door with excellent coffee and loads of games that will make your wait go by quickly.
Pros: Fun Characters and environment. Challenging Holes for all ages to enjoy. Created by local Portland artist

Read moreSuch a fun family activity! We called ahead to get on the mini golf waitlist and then enjoyed lunch from the cafe in the backyard area while our toddler and child played with the obstacle course and yard games. The food was tasty and the drink flavors are all so fun. The kids loved just looking at all the creatures and artwork throughout the space. We took a ton of photos and enjoyed playing the seek and find games in exchange for stickers. Shortly after we finished lunch it was our turn for putt putt. 9 holes is the perfect number for young kids and provided some friendly competition for the adults. We walked around the area after and ventured down to Cathedral Park after to put our toes in the river. A visit to Wonderwood should be on everyoneâs summer or rainy day...

Entertainment and art combined.
We also stopped by the coffee shop next door after we were done for a night cap. They had just finished a trivia night that looked like it was a blast. Whole place was packed.
Only suggestion I can think of, and it's a small thing, was that we went during a very cold night. Would of been nice to have a coat check or some place we could leave them safely.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something new to try...
