The man who runs this store, Steve, is as nice as people come. The selection is very sophisticated compared to many antique shops -- you won't find anything chipped, cracked, moldy or unpleasant or imperfect in any way here! The vibe is actually mid-century modern, but you will also find some Art Deco pieces that are spectacular, as well. I have purchased a six-inch tall peacock-shaped toothpick holder from the the 1930s here, as well as a large wall plate from Germany decorated in a below-the-sea design. Both are absolutely wonderful! Just bought, as well, an adorable silver plated pillbox and a cobalt blue shot glass featuring an etched Space Needle on the front.
