I don't have a car, and need to walk/use public transportation to get around. I used to skateboard when I was a kid and stopped, picking up again as an adult. I've been hoping that it would help me get around a little easier (or at least in a more fun way than walking) without being as obnoxious as a bike. I was on a very limited budget and brought in a basically useless $5 skateboard I got off FB marketplace, hoping to just replace the trucks, and be able to use the rest of it to save myself money.
