Travel Skate Shop — Attraction in Rahway

I don't have a car, and need to walk/use public transportation to get around. I used to skateboard when I was a kid and stopped, picking up again as an adult. I've been hoping that it would help me get around a little easier (or at least in a more fun way than walking) without being as obnoxious as a bike. I was on a very limited budget and brought in a basically useless $5 skateboard I got off FB marketplace, hoping to just replace the trucks, and be able to use the rest of it to save myself money. The shop owner pointed out some damages in the deck I had, set me up with a much nicer used deck, salvaged what we could of the older one, and put the new trucks on it for me.
