I came here today with my wife and two kids and my mother-in-law. We didn't want to golf but the kids did, so we figured it would be a fun experience for them. We were verbally blasted (literally yelled at) by an older lady (think of the witch from Hansel and Gretel) in the entrance when we told her that only the kids were golfing. It got even better because she didn't stop there, she proceeded to yell at the woman and the three children she had with her who were behind us in line for the same reason (the lady wanted just the kids to golf). This lady purported that she is the owner. Red flag: STAY CLEAR!! This place is shady at best. There are plenty of great places to take your family to in Rapid City for $40 where you will not be verbally assaulted. On the bright side, it was a learning lesson for my children that some places operate like this, and when you encounter them, you turn and leave.
Nobody deserves to be treated lIke that when they enter a commercial .establishment....especially one that claims to tailor to families..and by the owner. Slamming your hand in your car door is likely to be a more...
Read moreI had come a few times over the years and had a good time until recently. I won't likely come again. We had come to celebrate my son's 10th birthday. We couldn't invite any of his friends so it was just his 1 cousin, 3 aunt, us his parents & his 2 sisters =9. We broke up into 2 groups as asked to, 4 kids in one group & 5 adults in the group behind the kids. No more then 6 swings each person. Yet the group behind us continued to taunt us, making fun of us, rush us & make multiple reports of us playing as 1 group of 9 and spending 10 minutes per hole which was was far from the truth! We did nothing wrong and felt we did not warrant any warrning of doing anything wrong! We just wanted to enjoy our son's birthday! We did not realize we had to be golf pros to enjoy this place. Not child friendly. I wish we could of had an...
Read moreHearts, cove was so much fun. Me and my son had driven past a few of these before on our trip around the country and this is the first time we actually stopped and enjoyed ourselves at one. I love how at every hole they had information about real pirates. Out of a lot of miniature golf places we have been in the last several days, this one was definitely the cleanest and the best well kept one. The cave was really awesome. The only thing I would probably mention is that they do have a second skeleton room in the cave, but the light I guess is burned out, so you can’t see inside. so is the owner sees this and changes that lightbulb, that would be great. Other than that one tiny thing, this is an absolutely ten star rating for...
