Very slow joint for a place that only does pizza and salads. Waited for almost an hour for two personal size pizzas (not even fancy gourmet pizza, just a regular Margherita and a meat lover). After the long wait, only the Margherita came out and the pizza was partially burnt. The staff "couldn't find" the meat lover pizza so we waited another five minutes for them to remake the pizza (made me wonder why it took so long for us to get the pizza in the first place if it only takes them 5 min to make one and their oven is big enough to make 6-8 pizzas at once). The pizza itself is nothing spectacular for its price, about the same quality as MODS or your generic franchise pizza joint but significantly more expensive. Don't really know what to recommend about this place... Not really a cheap eats place since two 10 inch pizzas was about 30 bucks. Not really a quick bites place since it takes almost an hour to get your order. Not really a gourmet pizza place since the quality is not great (burnt and generic). Only reason why this place is getting a star at all is that the staff was very nice and apologetic about the mess up.

To the owners response: For an establishment that gets VERY defensive with negative reviews but never actually denying the customer's negative experience or addressing the issues only makes me feel that the establishment is very insincere. We would have loved to bring it up to management if they were available. There is no point raising a ruckus with the staff when they were the only positive aspects of the...

Absolutely fantastic! Frequently me and my company do work in the Redding area, and by chance we found this place. Everytime we are in the area we stop here for a top-notch pie. They serve authentic Neopolitan-style, wood-fired pizza, and I guarantee you no pizzeria in Redding is doing it as well as they are. Every ingredient is locally-sourced, fresh, and full of flavor. If you call ahead they'll give you an estimate of completion time for your order. My estimate was so accurate it led to me walking in while they were slicing my pizzas. Each pizza is the same size, and just about a perfect portion for one person. With each bite you can taste the freshness, and the simple mix of ingredients that leads to huge flavor. Try the BBQ chicken with a drizzle of hot honey, a proprietary blend made in-house, and infused with Habanero pepper. Prices are more than fair for the level of quality these guys dish out. While you're there give the creamery adjacent to Cinders a try! Also a top-notch, quality establishment serving up quality deliciousness. You can often witness them making their waffle cones from scratch. Who these days goes so many extra miles to enhance the experience of their customers like these places? Good question. Both of these fine eateries do just that, and every penny is not only well-spent, but also well worth the fine quality of culinary delight they offer. I dare anyone who reads this to give these folks a visit and not leave with a...

I was very disappointed by my experience. I ordered a small salad with chicken added and had it delivered through doordash. Since I was looking at the website for cinders and my friend was looking at doordash I didn't realize that the prices were different on each website. So when I got my salad I was taken aback by how small it was and how little chicken there was on it. I opened it up and find two to three slimy pieces of lettuce. It seemed to me that the salad have been sitting in the same container for a while, maybe days. The amount of salad in there was half the amount I expected. I thought I paid $6 plus $1 for chicken and was very frustrated at that I paid that much for what I got. Then today I realized that the price on doordash was more than that. So I paid $7 for a tiny wilted salad and $1 for an eighth of a cup of chicken. I would like to ask that you guys do better than that. A really great example of the type of salad I was expecting from a restaurant like yours that is known for quality the packaged salads at orchard nutrition. They sell them for $5 or less and it's a great size with a great mix of veggies. I know that they do organic as well, so the price should be able to stay close. When I called and talked to an employee he said the large is three times bigger. In my mind a if the small is $7 and a large is $10, the small should be at least half the amount of food, not a...

Cinders in Redding is a little pizza place with a nice exterior and a super clean interior. You can eat there, have take away or get it delivered. The place is super cute. The service is very nice and friendly. The pizza is pretty good, but for the price it should be great. They have what they need, a real wood burning pizza oven. The prices may look great, but know they only have single pizzas, one for each person and their salads are lacking. But overall, we were very pleased with the service and the pizza. We had the bacon and brie which comes with garlic extra virgin olive oil, brie cheese, bacon, kalamata olives, roasted garlic cloves, black pepper and balsamic glaze. We also enjoyed their pizza with truffles, which comes with garlic alfredo sauce, fresh mozzarella, black truffle oil-tossed mushrooms, roasted garlic, green onion, black pepper and not close to enough parmesan cheese. But it was good. Their salads are pretty good, not great. We had the House Salad and a Cesar's. The House Salad was our favorite. Have a great time in Redding.

I used to come here often. Not after my experience today. This is not a one time issue. It has been an on going issue and getting worse. Today a young lady named Ingram took my order over the phone. A simple pepperoni pizza. She said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I show up in 10 minutes. There isn’t a pizza in the oven, and nobody is making one. There are none in the to go rack. That’s troubling.. I only have 30 minutes for lunch. Ingram at the register on her phone ready to take payment. She tells me that my pizza is almost done and it should be ready in 5-7 minutes. 20 minutes later my pizza is served to me and it is an inedible ball of grease with about 18 small pepperoni pieces on it. Not how I usually get a pizza from this place. I come here often. Not any longer.
