The Vintage Market — Attraction in Redding

Felt very unwelcome. My fiancee and I came into the store several years ago while I was living and working in Redding..Whom I assume is the store owner followed us the entire time to make sure we weren't going to steal anything. I've never stolen in my entire life and was very annoyed by this. I had plenty of money on me and was interested in several things in the store but ended up leaving without buying anything due to the dehumanizing behavior of the owner/employee. Found some new and old treasures here today! A colorful corgi magnet, some pretty bracelets and two hammered copper bowls. And a matching vase! I nearly bought a set of sweet repainted gray end tables that were in great condition but they weren't quite tall enough. Allow at least an hour if you decide to visit, and you might want to call ahead to make sure they are there, as they sometimes close...

I love it here, this is a decent place to take friends, casual dates, your mom, your dates mom, your friends mom. Great and varied items, themes and goods to look at, lots of obviously differently curated booths. Paintings, lamps, glassware, postcards you name it they got it. I go in here about three times a year to look around always I buy something or find something I wish...
