Caffè Pagato — Restaurant in Redding

Redding, CA. Unique, great flavors to my coffee and sweet potato pastry. The space makes anyone happy with tables for extroverts and, on the side, a slim bar looking out the window for introverts like me reading and studying. Natural woods, high ceilings, warm lighting, the inimitably blue Redding sky with autumn bright leaves outside—-heaven on earth.

Great music choices. Love that one of the baristas sang along. Happy banter amongst the team and long time customers known and loved.

Great servant’s heart to the young person who took my order, brought me my food and went to get my utensils and asked about my book. Also Mel who, when I raved about it, shared how they developed the sweet potato pie recipe so it would go with the coffee; she’s the main brain behind it. Again, it was amazing and I can normally pick off spices but I couldn’t for this one. It’s just great sweet potato pie!!! And I’m keeping her recipe her secret so you’ll try it yourself.

Great food, good espresso drinks, cute atmosphere, nice service...it's a good lunch or study spot, but not a lot of seating. Charming look with nice selection of sandwiches & paninis. The ingredients are well thought-out & prepared special to order. Not run of the mill...familiar bases with really nice additions...my spicy ham was a terrific ham & cheese with a great pepper jelly...just the right amount. The pastry case looks stuffed with sweet & savory items that deserve exploration. A nice list of drink specials to fit the season is a good addition. The earl gray brownie is so good!...

Caffe Pagato is such a cute and cozy place, that is great for some quiet time to yourself, or for a fun little coffee date. The food and coffee is so yummy, and the staff is incredibly helpful and so friendly. I can still recall my very first time visiting, over 2 years ago - I wasn't sure what to order and the staff was great in helping me with suggestions and recommendations, that did not disappoint!
