Our family visited on 04/05/23 and we had a blast! Tons of fun and definitely something the whole family can do! I’m not going to lie; I was pretty nervous because no matter what I looked at, I couldn’t find an actual description of what this place was. I was expecting something like an escape room and I was a bit worried because I’m slightly disabled so getting on the ground or even low to the ground and doing certain physical activities can be difficult for me. I had no idea what to expect. The staff assured me it would be fine though (I suggest mentioning when you make your reservation to mention if anyone has physical limitations just in case) so I put my trust in them. I’m so glad I did! Our Host was Caroline and she was a great Host! Very fun, fair and informative. For anyone wondering, this is NOT an escape room but I won’t give away too many details other than to say it’s set up as more of a game show where you and your group split yourselves into teams and then play the game. Side note, there’s a snack bar where you can get snacks and/or drinks (they have some “adult beverages” available also). My brother had brought his wife and son to town for the first time and this was a great way to end their trip. We had a group of seven with ages ranging from 7 to 42. Everyone had fun and was able to participate! We’re planning to take my sister when she comes back in June! It’s a great addition to Reno and I can’t wait to see what the future holds...
Read moreI recently visited Sensology with my family, who were visiting from the Bay Area, and unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable, primarily because of the host, Chelsi. We came all the way from California excited for a fun time, but Chelsi's behavior completely tainted the visit.
From the very beginning, things were off. While I was filling out the waiver on my phone and struggling with it, I asked Chelsi for assistance. Instead of being helpful or polite, she seemed visibly irritated, which set the tone for the rest of the visit.
It was also very apparent that Chelsi was high during our experience. Her demeanor and behavior made my family and me extremely uncomfortable. When I tipped her, she barely acknowledged it with a rude and emotionless “thanks,” then immediately walked off down the hallway without another word. It was unprofessional and left a sour impression.
To be fair, we still had a good time. The games themselves were a blast and enjoyable, but dealing with Chelsi overshadowed everything. For $32 per person, she shouldn’t be acting like that. Her attitude and state of mind were completely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing role.
Even a couple of weeks later, I still find myself thinking about the experience. I even asked my parents if we should share what happened. The experience was frustrating enough that I felt compelled to share this with others. If you happen to get Chelsi as your...
Read moreWe recently spent 4 days in Reno and Sensology was the most enjoyable activity we did. We had both adults and children as young as 10 in our group and it was so much fun for everyone. Our game was hosted by Kat who was amazing! She was so enthusiastic and interactive with everyone; she has the perfect personality to host a game like this and get people to want to come back again and again. One of the people in our party was on the autism spectrum and Kat was so lovely with him. She recognized his need for more detailed instructions sometimes and took the time to make sure he understood. He loved playing and cannot wait to do Sensology again next time we visit! The day we were at Sensology there were birthday parties happening and everyone seemed to be having a great time. This is the perfect activity for any type of group or party to enjoy. You must experience...
