2nd Street Café Express — Restaurant in Reno

I got a salad from here, the Caesar salad and it was disappointing to see that there was no buttery croutons as it says in the front and the dressing was pretty much gone. It looked like someone had grabbed the croutons and dressing & left pretty much just the lettuce and chicken. It was disappointing not to be able to eat the salad I paid for since there was no dressing or croutons. I feel like never coming to this place again I don’t recommend getting a salad from here. Always check your salads to make sure it has everything that says on the top of the package or just don’t get one at all. I remember it was the last Caesar salad so I didn’t mind to check because I thought it looked fine but that was upsetting. I thought I got lucky getting the last Caesar salad but I should have just not gotten it if I knew it had missing things to complete the salad. Waste of money. If you’re in town, at the GSR for work - I recommend keeping this place in mind! It’s especially helpful to have somewhere open 24hrs when you have early call times and nothing else is open… or if you work really late haha. Be aware, I’m pretty sure the use chef mike for a lot of things here (microwave).

I tried:

-Sausage bagel: the sausage was very small, and very hard lol - probably overcooked… -Philly cheese steak: 9/10 honestly haha, very good -Chorizo burrito: pretty good, I’m from Phoenix so I have pretty high burrito standards… I would buy this again, but more out of necessity than anything ha!

The staff is always super helpful, and the prices, although still high, are better than anywhere else...
