I donāt really understand the bad reviews. Of all the pharmacies Iāve dealt with, they have been the easiest. The only negative I can think of is they do tend to run out of my medication every couple of months and going without it even for a day can be debilitating since I donāt sleep without it, but overall they are really on top of things and let me know if itās on order and typically get it the next day so I donāt have a problem. Iād imagine you can have that issue at any small pharmacy. They occasionally let me fill it on day 29 so that I donāt have to worry about running out if they donāt have it or if I canāt leave work to make it there on day 30 during their business hours since I work 12 hour shifts in downtown Detroit and some days my shifts start before they open and end after they are closed. They are also one of the few pharmacies to carry the medication that my neurologist feels I need, so I donāt know what Iād do without them. I donāt enjoy having to be on this medication indefinitely, but without it I donāt sleep and life is miserable, so I appreciate that they usually work with me to make sure I rarely run out. The staff has always been polite and most of them know me by name which makes me feel like they value my business. They also have an amazing selection of specialty gifts. My daughter has recently gotten very sick and theyāve been helpful in getting the meds she needs. As for the review saying the good ratings are fake, I am very much a real customer of ZMCs and have been for many years. I had far more issues when I used...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was shocked and disheartened when, after TWO YEARS, receiving the same prescription for my three legged dog Chloe-Grace, the young red bearded pharmacist decided to not honor my prescription and make me feel like a drug addict/criminal. My vet (in romulus Michigan) referred me to your business. After speaking to my vet he stated that your pharmacy promoted yourself to their clinic as a small pharmacy needing business. So I was shocked when this pharmacist decided to question me why I was coming to royal oak from Romulus - because you promoted yourself to my vet!!! So you did not honor my vets 90 day prescription for hydrocone so she can breathe through her collapsed trachea. I was told by this pharmacist he never heard of such a thing. I informed him I was coming there for two years and his reply was āsporadicallyā. IVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR TWO YEARS EVERY MONTH OR TWO. I asked to have a few pills to get her through because I was just about out and she has a hard time breathing and was told flat out no. So my vet called you and you were rude to them as well. Good news! I will never be back. I will never recommend you again and neither will my vet. So not only did you lose my business but you will lose others. I was totally embarrassed and made to feel like I was trying to get narcotics as a drug user. . Well if I was, how many pills for a 10 pound dog would I have to gobble up to get a high? Common sense...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had just moved back to the area, with new insurance, so I got a new doctor and this pharmacy is attached to their office. This is the most adorable pharmacy ever. My first experience with pickup prescriptions was easy, complicated at first but easy. I had a medicine on automatic refills at another pharmacy, which I had forgotten I had done. When we realized that this happened, they quickly got on the phone with the other pharmacy and fixed it. I didn't even have to get involved. They were apologetic to me and all I could think is that it was my fault and yet they still wanted to make sure I was happy. It's nice to have service again. As I've gotten older I've realized that I want quality service more than anything so having found a perfect, small, and hometown-feeling pharmacy, is perfection. This is also a great place for housewarming gifts, organic, and natural products. They even have some adorable jewelry and...
