Lovely views of the Matanzas River, the Bridge of Lions & boats coming and going from the marina. Nice place to take a walk, walk the dog, etc. Informative signage provides the history & importance of the sea wall to the city. Public restrooms available nearby on the far side of the Municipal Marina. You see on your own to find parking. Small private lots generally have the best prices.

Free to visit. Nice breeze. The sea wall has been in existence so long as. Saint Augustine has been a community. The Spanish-built a seawall, the Americans built a seawall anyone who wants to have a permanent residence here in Florida, has to build a seawall, and that's what they did. The sea wall was destroyed by a hurricane and...
