FILTHY!!! The store is filthy! The self-serve printers are disgusting. No one has taken a cleaning cloth to them in anyone's memory. They have instructional stickers that are falling off... and the gummy surfaces are covered in I-don't-even-want-to-think-what!
The carpet is filthy/disgusting. The shelves on which the merchandice sits are filthy, with old and new tags hanging off. I don't wander around this very disorganized shop anymore than I have to do... I don't want to think what I might encounter!
I showed up about 20 minutes after opening one day to use a self-serve copier, only to find that NONE of the self-serve copiers were turned on... those machines DO NOT turn on quickly! The employee's excuse was that the machines are normally left "on" overnight and that they had had a power failure overnight which had turned them all off.
Well, it SEEMS like a "normal" part of an employee's "opening" duties should be to make sure that the machines are turned ON!!!
To be fair, the employees have been helpful, but I observe a LOT of times when there are many of them on duty, just standing around chatting with each other, waiting for a customer to help. Why not pick up a cleaning cloth and CLEAN something!
Response to "Becky" If you are really "... here to help!" you should instruct your employees to pick up a cloth and CLEAN when they aren't busy actively helping customers. If that isn't enough, then HIRE more people or people to come in specifically to CLEAN! And it should be YOUR job to get this review into the right hands... not leave that up to ME. DO YOUR JOB!!!
I've also updated this review to attached some before and after photos of a machine that I cleaned for just a minute with a wet wipe. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO...
Read moreI came to store #3270 today to print like I usually do, and was denied service. The shift manager said they were too busy to help, but I was the only customer in the store, 30 minutes after opening, and he and a sales team member were both behind the counter. I was told they needed to do inventory and see to pre-ordered print jobs instead. I only needed 20 posters printed, and the self-print station cannot handle my print files, since the font file sizes are too complex. I know this because I have been doing all my business printing with Office Depot for over 10 years. Instead of helping me, the staff turned me away when I needed it most - as I was headed to an event where I needed my posters. Because of this, I will never shop at Office Depot again. They have been de-prioritizing printing and customer service for years now, and this was the last straw! If I needed to order a print job online - when I cannot proof a hard copy first - I would simply order with Canva. You have lost my business forever, since what I need is in-person printing, and clearly you don't value your...
Read moreI took several empty ink cartridges in, and I was told to check later for points. When I checked later, they said it was too late to expire which I had never been told prior. So the next time I took three or four cartridges in about a week ago and I said I want to make sure I get my points this time and the person in the store told me to check in a couple days and they should be showing. I called today to find out there’s nothing showing and then was told that you have to go spend $10 to get your points to show up so then you have to go back again to spend them. So a guy in the store gave me the phone number this tome to call to see if they might just take care of the issue, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and I could hear her and other people in like a call center and every so often I’d say are you still there and literally in 15 minutes she came back on one time and said she had to put me back on hold . I’ve had it. It’s nothing more than a waste of my time so I will not be taking any other empty ink cartridges in, and I will not be patronizing Office...
