100% is haunted, can confirm with the scariest supernatural experience of my life. In my early 20s I was working at the Crystal Mirror, sitting at the desk and looking to my left through a tapestry that was almost transparent I saw a silhouette of a human standing there looking straight at me. I greeted them professionally and watched them quietly shift left and almost float, into another part of the store with ZERO exits. After waiting a few minutes and hearing nothing, I decided to get up and check on my customer, which to my suprise there was none... poof, just gone, this was weird for a simple reason... the door had a dinger when a customer would walk in or out that didn't go off at all. To sum this up I checked the security cameras and could clearly see myself talking to something that wasn't there. I get goosebumps to this day thinking about how clearly there was "someone" standing there watching me, and how many times I checked the cameras just to make sure. I returned later from crossing the new bridge over the Willamette at Riverfront Park, and stopped in at Brown's Towne Pub. There were so many people at and around this place, this was the best red wine I've had in quite a while. I asked for a table red and ended up chatting at the barstool with an old dude about inner planetary sciences while watching a National Geographic documentary on the flat screen. The flavors did open up even though it was not my bar, it was a place I hope...
Read moreWe went to an Easter Sunday brunch with family at Chira's restaurant in the Opera House. It was a very disappointing experience. The food was served buffet style which is fine. But nothing was labeled. And no one really knew what they were putting on their plate even outside of our party, other than some obvious things. The service while friendly when present was near non existent. The food while some things where good, most of it was sub par to gross. For what I would expect for $24 a head. Ultimately price vs quality was way off for me. Maybe they were having an off...
