Chair King Backyard Store — Attraction in San Antonio

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have spent nearly $30,000 on patio furniture from the DeZavala location. It pains me to post that I reported an issue with three sling back bar stools I purchased that are still under warranty. I was told they would be repaired or replaced. It's been three months since I reported the issue and have heard NOTHING. NOTHING. And I used to think Chair King was an outstanding company.

Update: My faith is restored somewhat. I was contacted today and told they are working with the manufacturer to repair the broken parts. We'll see.

Update: Six months later they finally replaced the broken chairs. One hitch, we had to return and pickup the new chairs or pay a delivery fee. They came unassembled when we picked them up. Fingers crossed we will have no issues with assembly.

Up to three stars now but no higher because that's horrible customer service overall, especially considering how long we've been a customer and how much we have...

I ordered a table with 10 chairs months ago in hope it would be here before Easter. The delivery date changed multiple times. When Easter got here, I had a table and 4 chairs with a new delivery date for the rest of the chairs after Easter. I had 60+ people coming and I really needed the chairs not to mention I had a brand new large table with only 4 chairs. I called the store on San Pedro and spoke to Jordan a few days before Easter . He listened to my concerns and said he would do his best to try and find 6 more chairs and have them shipped to the store but I would have to pick up. He called a couple of days before and said he found 6 chairs and they would be at the store and ready for pickup on Saturday. And sure enough, they were there. Jordan went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to and deal with. To Santiago (store manager) / you have an exceptional member on your sales team...

Great service; good prices!

I came home after being out of town for a week to see an entire dining room and leisure set on my back patio, courtesy of my wife. We had been looking at different sets at Family Leisure but were never compelled to purchase (i.e. price wasn't right, service rep never really that enthused, etc.). That is until she tried Chair King. The rep she worked with was patient and easy to work with and worked with her on the price to where we ended up getting overall better quality furniture at a lower price than the competition.

So when I heard that (and saw the receipt), I congratulated AND thanked my wife on getting us such a good deal and saving me the hassle of having to deal with all that. I haven't set foot in the store...but based on the deal we got and the service they gave my wife...they're 5 stars...
