Hacienda Santa Maria — Attraction in San Antonio

We celebrated our 15-year anniversary dinner at La Hacienda Santa Maria and absolutely loved the beautiful hacienda-style venue. The night was perfect the décor was exactly how we envisioned it, and the food was delicious! We chose the chicken fajitas with charro beans and rice along with all the toppings, and everything was a hit.

Our guests truly enjoyed the evening, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Patricia, our event coordinator, was especially patient, attentive, and caring with all of our needs and requests. We are so grateful we had the chance to work with her and her wonderful team.

Nice place, well lit, many beautiful arches and windows. A little bit run down with some minor cosmetic repairs overdue. Parking is a tad slanted with well marked spaces. Restrooms were in line with the theme of the venue. Table placements was adequate with enough space between tables. The only concern was a third of the hall was up 3 steps and it became dangerous to walk, dine or entertain nearby. There were a few occasions that seems dangerous. Either type it off or mark it with some flashing tape, to make others aware of the steps. Great location, it was on a well traveled street with plenty to see...

This place was very nice. If you want an experience of being in Mexico this is the place. It has iron cast chandeliers, Saltillo tiles, and has a brick and mortar fence around the area.
