My beloved and I were on our way home to Vancouver from a couples retreat, S’more Love. We decided to stop for a quick coffee, to my delight we detoured into Arjang’s store. I was kindly greeted by a well dressed handsome gentleman, beautifully adorned in Warhol socks and Ferrari yellow shoes. I love shoes, I love Mid Century Art and I love an instant connection, this I felt with Arjang. He shared with us the stories of Love which emanate throughout the art in his store. Overwhelmed with emotions most of my visit, I could feel and in some cases even smell the art. I had the honour to adopt some pieces and bring them back to Canada. My quest for love and acceptance has been a long one.

My perceptions tainted, my motivations for excellence more for recognition than joy.

Only in recent years have I had the courage to see inside myself to reveal, very little , if any self love. I spent most of my life feeling unseen or heard.

My journey has revealed a fork in the road, the well worn path, although comfortable not serving me nor my sovereignty, it kept me hidden from vulnerability.

I now work hard to recognize the fork, before deciding which way to go, I ask myself, is it kind to myself, does it serve me in my growth, is it an edge to be pursued?

When I first saw you, you were talking on the phone, you asked me “ if I had any questions?” To which I replied no thx, I’m just in awe” after taking two steps away from you, I realized, this was a fork.

Not bothering you fit my lack of worth, this is why I came back. I did have a question, this was me challenging my own vulnerability to bother you.

Your watch alone told me the opulence you are among, this was your store, I had moments, questioning my worth based on your wealth.

You showed me such kindness and love, as overwhelming and beautiful as the art in the room.

I had the pleasure of visiting Arjang’s Treasure House of Fine Art, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. From the moment we stepped into the gallery, we were greeted with warmth and generosity. Not only does Arjang have an eye for extraordinary art, but he is also a true gentleman with a passion for sharing his knowledge. He took so much time to discuss the stories behind each piece, and even gave us a private tour of his showroom, where we were able to see some truly unique and rare works.

We ended up purchasing three stunning pieces, each one holding special meaning to us. Beyond the beautiful artwork, it was the experience itself that made it so memorable. Arjang’s sense of humor, kindness, and genuine interest in helping us find the perfect pieces was something truly special.
