L&G Projects — Attraction in San Diego

While showing out of town family around the village, including our preteen kids, we stumbled on Theo and his gallery. What a wonderful experience. At first, the kids went in while the rest of us were talking outside. It caught my attention hearing the kids in conversation with the gallery owner and seeing the kids being walked around and shown and explained different works by Theo (whom we had not yet met). The rest of us soon joined and Theo could not have welcomed us more warmly. We too, all began an in-earnest tour of his displayed works and thoroughly enjoyed all Theo had to share about the artists and their works. So glad we stumbled on his gallery and we very much look forward to returning. We enjoyed his art and would love the opportunity to give him our business....

I love this gallery! I first saw it after dinner one time, and it was closed. I finally walked in randomly while in La Jolla. Theo the owner is such an incredible person! He was very enthusiastic about the art and artists he represents. You'll find about 6 artists represented, and they are each so unique. Theo knows them personally, and loves to share their process and story. I love that about art...there's always someone behind the piece that has a story to tell, and they do it via something beautiful for all to enjoy. I love the gallery so much, that I've decided to make it a regular stop on the food tours of La Jolla that I run daily. Thank you Theo...

What a great art gallery in La Jolla! My family and I really enjoyed speaking with George about the diverse collection of modern art being produced in and around La Jolla. George represents many local artist, spanning diverse international perspectives. L&G has amazing artwork to see, spanning a wide range of mediums. Pieces on display cover mother of pearl colors in acrylic and polymer, beautiful wood pieces expressing waves and ripples, and metal statues that somehow capture a sense of the fleeting nature of life.
