Was influenced by my professors to continue studying business post graduate degree. Researched residential doctoral programs in San Diego. Only three schools in San Diego offered a doctoral degree in business/management at the time. CIBU was one of those schools and I was familiar with some of the professors who taught there as I had had some of them in my post graduate program. As a result, I continued my studies at California International Business University, where I earned the D.B.A. degree. Chose to apply statistics to the analysis of the California and Arizona homeowner insurance industry’s strategies in response to climate change as the topic for dissertation.
The university encompasses every aspect of what most people dream of their dream college, from the downtown centrally located campus to the nationally recognized professors, unbeatable activities, lifelong friendships made through the networking events, and the genuine sense of CIBU pride that each student and member of faculty feels from the first time they step onto campus or attend their first event/activity. The students and faculty alike are hardworking, genuine, kind, and successful. Read moreI attended CIBU in 2011/2012 for my MBA program and would like to share my positive experience through this review. The student-to-teacher ration is perfect, which allows you a lot of interaction with the professors. Furthermore, the broad international student body allows you to better understand international business and other cultures. I very much enjoyed the entrepreneurial focus of this university! Thanks to my MBA degree from CIBU, I was able to attain sponsorship from a large corporation. Being originally from Russia, this was the bast that could have happened to me.
