AMAZING staff (I can't stress this enough, Brittney M. was the best serve staff we've experienced in San Diego!), great food, and bomb brews. I'm visiting from Guam and added this to my list of must do beer spots. I had the shrimp tacos and Vietnamese pork tacos. Solid 4/5 star street tacos. But let me tell you about the Korean BBQ Brussel Sprouts... chef's kiss -- An absolutely killer light app or snack that pairs great with the Clever Kiwi Pils... My wife (who is Korean AF/from Seoul), said they were great and the fusion flavors reminded her of home (it reminded her of the 양념치킨 Yangnyeom chicken sauce flavor). The food menu is pretty small, but perfect for a beer forward locale. Awesome street views, perfect volume background music, super dog friendly--all A++ attributes in my book. The three beers I tried were superb. Heres my rankings on Untappd for each: •Clever Kiwi, Pilsner-4/5★ •There's Something About Mango, Sour, Fruited-4.6/5★ •Treevana, WC IPA- 3.9/5★ I highly, highly, highly recommend you give this place a shot! This would be a brewery staple for me...

There are three other locations. They have Trivia Tuesday and Wing Wednesday.

We just missed their happy hour from 3-5pm M-T so we just got tasters and hung out.

Loved that they offer variety of food like Korean fried chicken sandwich, Bavarian pretzel, and plant based impossible burger. The beers on tap have 3 sizes.

I got 5 ounce Carlsbad crush which was too hoppy for me but if you pair it with food, it took the hoppiness down and a notch.

Then I had the 5 ounce Invita - Mexican lager which was light and yummy. Tasted even better with food pairing.

The location is at a corner. Literally a short block from the Sante Fe Depot trolley stop. All tables were bar height except for two tables in the corner. Friendly staff and great ambiance.

Dogs are allowed in the patio. However, inside dogs are reserved for...

My husband and I have been going here frequently ever since it opened and there really is no bag thing to say about it. Burgeon has my all time favorite beer in San Diego (personal favorites: Clever Kiwi & Pistil). The service is always stellar - Burgeon employees are the NICEST. Jonathan (JP) always has the best attitude and makes sure you get your drinks, food, service, etc. all so quickly! And then to top it all off - they truly have the best food. I’ve been to many many breweries (in San Diego and outside of it) and I’d have to say Burgeon has the best food I’ve ever had at a brewery. I would’ve never guessed living in San Diego that the best fish tacos would come from this place but I’ve tested them multiple times and they truly are THE BEST FISH TACOS. We highly recommend this place - you won’t be...

Excellent place for a beer & food. They offer a very wide choice of (draft) beers and I was very happy with my choice (Clever Kiwi). Most of all, I strongly appreciated the 2cm (1 inch ?) of foam (!!) on my beer. 1st time after 3weeks of roadtrip throughout the US, that I got a draft beer with foam. As a Belgian citizen, knowing a few things about beer 😉, a beer without foam looks/tasts less attractive. So thumbs up for the 'Burgeon at the Arbor'. [Fyi- picture was taken after drinking from the beer, so part of foam already gone 😁] We also appreciated the laid-back atmosphere (we could walk-in & choose our table, no waiting to be seated) and the tasty food. Good burgers (both the real deal & the incredible burger one), excellent flatbread pizza and good spicy chicken wings. Thanks for the nice experience 👍🍺🍕🍔,🙌
