Hazard Center — Attraction in San Diego

I go to Hazard Center primarily to view movies at the six theater cinema multiplex; the screens are very large with an intense sound system; their morning and afternoon matinee specials can't be beat !😃🌭🍿🍺💕👍There are plenty of other stores that you can patronize or just walk through the area and do some window shopping.A large hotel - The Double Tree Mission Valley @ 7450 Hazard graces the whole complex - with plenty parking; Food 4 Less, CVS,Ralphs and other stores are a short stroll away, providing instant access to anywhere in San Diego from the 163 Freeway.There is ample parking and the San Diego Trolley is on the south side of the whole complex There is also a Denney' s Restaurant on the northeast side of 163 and Friars Rd.: It 's been there for many decades and is a continuing icon to the "family style restaurants" of the late 50' and 1960's. Hazard Center has many businesses that are well-known and some that may be specific to your needs ; Ultra Star Cinemas, Barnes and Noble Books, Jenny Craig, Charles SCHWAB, Starbucks, Joe's Crab Shack and the Double Tree Hotel ( A Hilton property, so it has to be a very nice place. I'm going to be detailed because this deserves to be stated. After lunch at Denny's I decided to drive across to see if anything was open in Hazard Center. I was excited to see the movie theater was. So excited that I somehow left my key in the ignition causing a dead battery when I returned. I don't drive an expensive car but it's nice enough. Especially since the door was unlocked also. My phone was dead so I asked the security guy in the golf cart if I could please use his. He said yes which was huge because he's not at all obligated. This kind gentleman let me sit on his phone for 30min waiting to reach AAA. 30 y'all! His name was Preston. After about 2hours of waiting in the sun for AAA he even brought me water. So kind! This may just be Covid season but I believe it's people like Preston who take their job seriously that keep areas like this safe for goofballs like me who practically, albeit accidentally, give their car away 😂. Daylight Robbery on Weekend! Beware!! I got robbed of my cell phone on Oct 1 2016 (Saturday) around 2:30 PM right in front of Lakeshore. I was sitting on the bench using my cell phone. One African American guy snatched my cell phone from my hand and ran away. I cannot believe how this is happening in the day time on weekend in the mall. I met zero security on this property even if I was with Police officer for about an hour after the incident (Some witnessed people reported 911 immediately). I have serious concerns on the security of this property. Do not visit this mall especially with kids!!
