Seaport village is basically where my fiancee and I fell in love. It was a constant date night destination. Her and her mom used to always go down there and walk around and visit all the shops. When we first met she shared that this is one of her favorite places to go. Once we started going down there and walking during the evenings, we just keep going....A lot! We still frequent seaport village as there's many beautiful and interesting things to see, plenty of great food to eat and many places to grab a brew or wine and chill. Also a great place to exercise.

Whether you are viewing the Coronado bridge spanning over the San diego bay, seeing Coronado just across the way, viewing beautiful boats lining the docks or watching military and personal vessels embark on their voyages, shop hopping or eating at restaurants it is truly is a fun place to walk around.

Just to the north of Seaport village are many ships including the Midway and submarines that you can take tours of. To the south of seaport village you have the Convention center, Joe's Crab shack, a amphitheater and the Hilton which use to have a restaurant, but I don't I know if it's still there or not? There is a yogurt shop attached to the Hilton that we would walk down to that is self-serve with tons of toppings and was always delicious.

Seaport village itself has many shops that include plenty of tourist oriented shops. There are so many but of the top of the old head there is a Christmas store, Hot sauce store, Pirate store, clothing stores, rock shop, jewelry store plus many more. There are also tons of restaurants in the area that include both sit-down and window ordering with plenty of seating around, not to mention two different Ben & Jerry's right next to each other just in case the lines too long for you. There's also a cheesecake factory and across the street is a Kansas City barbecue where the original top gun's bar scene was filmed although the original one did burn down, but they rebuilt it exactly the same and it really is cool to see. There's also a carousel, water landscapings with benches where you can view some duckies and even chairs in the sand with an umbrella if you just want to relax.

I highly recommend going down to seaport village and checking it out. If you do park at seaport village proper, make sure to get your ticket validated as parking can be very expensive. I also highly recommend going up to the top of the Marriott and getting a glass of wine from the bar up top and taking in the amazing view.

We frequent down there often so I'll make sure to post more...

This place was amazing... shopping right off the ocean side with a beautiful view & a awesome atmosphere. They have a really cool Hat store with every type you can think of for men women and children. A nice Sports shop to buy your favorite NFL NBA MLB apparel & tons of other goodies from other sports right there for your shopping pleasure. I wandered into a Lalicious store & ended up purchasing some really nice body butter they sold that smelled AWESOME. It's called Sugar Kiss.. probably one of the greatest gift body creams i have EVER bought my Mom..I am an instant fan of SEAPORT VILLAGE... plenty of places to see & nice eatery's with good food & service. A wonderful walk path right along the coastal inlet that directs you to one of the coolest sights around. A Navy Aircraft Carrier with guided tours and plenty of little stops along the path as well.. from a man who does caricature sketches on the SPOT for 10 dollars to on the spot art galleries & T-shirt stands from tank tops to ponchos & honchos lol.. plenty of snack stops along the way from bottled ice water to soda pops to ice cream pops to snow cones & coffee lattes to mocha cappuccinos & everything in between. Live bands playing along the walk paths across the streets as well as a street farmers market.. from Seaport Village the pathway leads to many great places to go and spend a great day sight seeing and shopping and experiencing all that the area has to offer... right now they even have wooden Pirate Ship to check out and a nice place for kids to play around that area. Plenty of picnic places to sit down at on grass with city provided umbrellas for shade. And you gotta try the avocado toast past the Air craft Carrier across the street.. add bacon and its to die for. Plus there are awesome smoothies and blended drinks to try as well... and to think it all starts off at the SEAPORT VILLAGE. So if your looking for a good days adventure and your in the area then you Have to go down and see it all for yourself. You deserve it to have a great day with your family or friends or just on your own. Plus you cannot forget at any time you tire from walking there are TONS of electric scooters and bikes to rent so you can shop and zip around at your convenience.. plus your helping the city stay...

“Seaport Village in San Diego is a charming waterfront destination that combines shopping, dining, and entertainment in a beautifully designed setting. With its quaint cobblestone pathways, picturesque bay views, and a variety of unique shops and eateries, it’s a place that invites you to take your time and enjoy the atmosphere.

The crown jewel of Seaport Village is undoubtedly its historic carousel. This beautifully preserved 19th-century carousel is a delightful throwback to a bygone era. The intricately carved and brightly painted animals, the enchanting music, and the gentle motion of the ride create a sense of nostalgia that is both heartwarming and magical. Riding the carousel is not just for kids, it’s an experience that adults can enjoy too, and it’s especially romantic at night when the carousel is lit up.

Seaport Village is indeed a fantastic date spot. You can take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants with bay views, shop for unique gifts, and of course, take a ride on the historic carousel. The relaxed and romantic atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a date.

But Seaport Village is not just for couples. It’s a great place to spend time with family or friends, or even to enjoy some alone time. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Seaport Village offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

In summary, Seaport Village, with its historic carousel, is a charming waterfront destination that offers a unique blend of shopping, dining, and entertainment. It’s a place where you can create beautiful memories, whether you’re on a date, with family or friends, or just enjoying some...
