I spent the better part of the day searching on line for outdoor patio heaters... I live in north county and called every store around me. I finally called the Pt Loma Home Depot and got connected with the "electrical department"... not sure why but the gentlemen who assisted me would not transfer the call to outdoor living.. 'I know how it is.. you call for help and go from department to department... let me see if I can help you".. and sure enough.. he did!!
"plenty of outdoor patio heaters available to you... come on down and we will take care of you....!!"
So I drive down from North County and meet some incredible young men starting with JR... "how can I help you".. JR... I need 4-of the heaters and one fire pit.. can you help me?
"No problem"...
I let JR know that I had some more shopping to do and would come back when Im done.. "No problem.. we will have them waiting for you.. ready to go"...
I head out... fill a basket and head back.. and there they are... all ready to go.. but were not done.. JR grabs a few friends.. Dallas & Kyle arrive on the scene.. I pay and back in my truck and before I know it.. the tops have been removed as to allow them to lay flat in my truck.. my truck is loaded and I am done... ready to go... right..?
I head of to downtown to run some additional errands and as I am leaving downtown I realize that I forgot the other basket full of my purchases... I call customer service.. "no problem"... we will work with you to make it right.....
I arrived back at Pt Loma Home Depot and to my pleasant surprise.. JR, Dallas and Kyle ensured that my basked of pre-paid products were safe and secure. I check in with customer service.. "good to go".. and thank everyone for a most pleasant experience....
Truly a most wonderful experience and can not say enough to a management team that encourages their employees to take the extra step and to JR... Dallas & Kyle.. "your the best of the best"... thank you so much for providing the best customer experience I have received in a long-long time...
Blessings to all of...

As the worker walk a way for a second I reminder the customer who was upset from the worker comment. He was only doing his Job. The guy stop for a second. Then realize I was right as another working help him make his key. I walk over to the other worker who was working on my lock. Then I noticed his right hand was having a hard time put in the pin and key to remaster the lock. I then ask the worker what’s wrong with your hand. He then told me he had a major stroke four years ago from big lump behind his ear , which he didn’t know. He said it finally cut off his spinal fluid to the brain. He said at first he was just started by him loosing his hearing and never had it check out. He was only 38 when it happened. I was going to ask him if he wanted me to help him with the lock. But I realized it was his way of saying to himself. I will not be brought down by what happens in life. Then as he was finishing the lock. The customers who got mad at him for telling him to ask next time for customer service. Came by and said he was sorry ,how he treated him. It seems I was in the right place at the right time. To help and then learn how lucky I’m at 72. To walk. Talk and live a wonderful life. I know someday, things will change. But for now , I thank Heavenly Father for what I got. My health , my family .
