Just south of Ghirardelli Square, on Van Ness, this stair case is filled with beautiful native wildflowers, boasting the many different pollinators in the area. (You can also take another photographic journey, strolling along the Aquatic Park Pier watching members of the famous Dolphin Club, swim the chillie water, with an exceptional view of San Francisco, at any time of day.) There isn't much garden in these gardens. Some of the plants look like they haven't been maintained very well and a lot of the area is empty. The views are okay, but you could do without them. There are many places where you can sit down, so if you just need a place to rest, this would be decent.
