Just south of Ghirardelli Square, on Van Ness, this stair case is filled with beautiful native wildflowers, boasting the many different pollinators in the area. (You can also take another photographic journey, strolling along the Aquatic Park Pier watching members of the famous Dolphin Club, swim the chillie water, with an exceptional view of San Francisco, at any time of day.) When strolling the stairs at Black Point Garden, be sure to bring your favorite camera, because there is more to see if you continue your journey through Fort Mason to the Great Meadow Park. I hope you enjoy this stroll. Don't forget your camera or...

Not a must-visit, but still interesting.

There isn't much garden in these gardens. Some of the plants look like they haven't been maintained very well and a lot of the area is empty. The views are okay, but you could do without them. There are many places where you can sit down, so if you just need a place to rest, this would be decent. When I visited, a portion of the steps smelled horrible and seemed like they were used as a restroom. Overall, I can't recommend this place until...

It’s a beautiful point to look out over the harbor with great views of the Golden Gate bridge, and Alcatraz. It’s a little bit of a climb to get up there, so I had the entire place to myself. The easier way to get to it is to come from the hostel, but the path coming up from the water is a much better path with...

I visited later in the afternoon. The path loops by some nice seating area which can be a little sketch at night as some people use the benches for sleeping. It isn’t very colorful and is at the beginning of its growth. A nice view of the aquatic arena and ghiradelli sign.
