Recently visited Siam Orchid Traditional Thai Massage and it was an incredible experience. The staff is friendly, the decor is relaxing, and most importantly, the massage was incredible. This location is near Civic Center and roughly a five (5) minute walk from city hall. One of the unique aspects of the business that I appreciate is the everyday discounted rate if you use cash instead of credit. So, to be clear, there is a cash and credit price option. Also, they have a 30% off discount for all massages after 8 pm on Monday - Thursday. Another cool feature is the encouraged promotion and review of the business on Yelp and Google. There are several signs in the waiting area and in the bathroom, asking for reviews. As a regular reviewer, I appreciate this. Last thing that I need to emphasize is the quality of the massage. There are several massage options ranging from traditional Thai to couples massages. You will not leave disappointed. I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed.

This is my 2nd time here, and everytime I come, I don't want to leave! I will definitely book more appointments in the future. I just wish that I could buy a 10 package deal in advance for me and/or my husband to enjoy together or apart, but sadly only 1 package can be purchased at a time. That's my only lament. I always leave here floating. I feel so high on endorphins and happy that I can't stop smiling no matter what happens on my way home. That's 20 mins walk up Polk. I haven't been to any of their other locations, but I definitely want to try their spa on Larkin next time! They have very high standards to meet and exceed. Vicky was great. I can't remember the name of the girl I had before it was so long ago. Next time, I will get the Swedish and Thai massage combo package. That or the 4 hands massage sounds amazing. All of their packages seem worthy of trying, at least once!

Amazing amazing massage at the Polk St location. Pam was awesome just killing my tight spots, as requested! The place is very inviting but not in the best neighborhood. The oil massage and warm towel rub-down was nice. I got the 90 minute aroma combo that includes some stretching. The ginger chews were great so don't forget to try 1 or 2. And grab a cup of tea before you leave. There is not a bio on each therapist so I had to do a lot of googling to finally pick Pam based on other reviews. It would be nice if they added a bio page. I suggest booking via the phone but the Mind Body booking tool (which they use for online booking) was effective and did let me know open times and services/pricing. I do use the MindBody app for yoga but that login didn't work, so I had to make a new account; kinda weird so I should have just called to save time

I'm a doctorate student and physical stress is my first, middle, and last name. My muscles get so tight that it literally makes me sick. Recently, my lower back was getting so tight that I almost couldn't walk. I finally went in for a massage at Siam Orchid after finding the place online months ago, and all I can say is: GO! Before this, there was only one masseuse I had ever liked. Everyone else applies grandma pressure when you ask for seep tissue. But not here!! I went in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and I was amazed the entire time. My lady started off by applying pressure to my legs and back with her own feet (in some of the business's pictures, you'll see straps hanging from the roof--that's what they hold on to). This leverage allowed her to perfectly target the spots in my lower back that were making it difficult to walk. I could've done an entire massage of just that. At other points, she must've massaged trigger points because I would, say, feel a good tingle going down the length of my arm (and knew that it was from pressure release). Lastly, my lady knew intuitively what my body needed. Right before she turned me over to the front side, she was finishing up the second (right) side of my body. As she was finishing the second side, the left foot was feeling jealous, like it needed one more like massage. Once she was done with the right side, she went back to the left foot really quickly! There were many times where I said a relieved and grateful, "Thank you" in my head.

I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this place! A deep tissue massage is truly deep tissue, and it's so much more than that. Go, go, go! Your body...

I don’t review places often but I need to share this! Tdlr; my massage helped rid my pain and I highly suggest visiting them!

I work a very physical job as a nanny. Last week I wore new shoes that after walking several miles triggered my sciatica. I was in so much pain in my lower back down through my leg starting on Wednesday; I tried creams, heat therapy, a chiropractor adjustment, stretching, cbd, resting… and the pain was still a 8/10 on Sunday morning. I scheduled a massage at Siam— I usually go to another Thai massage place but they didn’t have any appointments available + the Polk Siam location is convenient for me. I got a phone call shortly after booking online with a suggestion for a different massage than the one I booked that would better suit my needs. My masseuse was Tara and I cannot thank her enough. She was so kind and attentive throughout the whole massage, knowing exactly what spots my body needed the most work and checking in with how I was feeling. I’m a plus-size person and am also sensitive to feeling peoples judgment, which feels awful in a vulnerable situation like someone touching your body. In addition to being a great masseuse, I could feel Tara’s kindness and lack of judgment. This means more than I can say. By the time my massage was over, I honestly felt my pain had decreased significantly. Today at work I was able to lift the kid I nanny (I couldn’t last Thursday and Friday), and felt fine walking all day. At the time of writing this (9pm), I feel like my pain is about 95% gone. I feel this is due to the massage and I am so grateful. Thank you...

If you're looking for an authentic Thai massage experience that rejuvenates both body and mind, give Siam orchid a try!Siam offers a perfect blend of traditional Thai hospitality and expert massage techniques.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm, calming atmosphere ginger candy and tea. The interior is tastefully decorated with soothing tones and subtle Thai accents, creating an immediate sense of relaxation. The staff is incredibly welcoming, ensuring that your needs are understood before your session begins.

The massage itself is where Siam truly shines. The therapists are highly skilled, with a deep understanding of Thai massage's intricate techniques. They tailor each session to your specific needs, whether you're seeking relief from tension, improved flexibility, or just some well-deserved relaxation. The use of traditional methods, such as stretching, tiger balm leaves you feeling both invigorated and rested.

One of the standout features is the attention to detail. The therapists are attuned to your comfort throughout the session, adjusting pressure as needed and ensuring a personalized experience. Personally I always need my hamstrings stretched and they always manage to do an amazing job addressing this!

Overall, Siam offers an exceptional Thai massage experience that strikes the perfect balance between therapeutic and relaxing. It's an ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind and recharge, and I highly recommend it to both first-timers and regulars alike. This hidden gem is worth...
