I recently visited the Almaden Ranch shopping plaza and wanted to share my thoughts. Overall, it was an average experience.
The plaza offers a decent variety of stores and services, which can meet basic shopping needs. There were a few popular retail chains and some dining options to choose from. It's a convenient place to run errands or grab a quick bite.
However, I found the plaza to be lacking in terms of ambiance and atmosphere. It didn't have that vibrant or engaging vibe that some other shopping centers offer. The layout and design were fairly standard, without any standout architectural features or unique touches.
Parking was also an issue during my visit. It was somewhat challenging to find available spaces, especially during peak times. This aspect can be frustrating and time-consuming for shoppers.
On the positive side, the plaza seemed to be well-maintained and clean. The facilities were in good condition, and it was relatively easy to navigate between stores.
In summary, the Almaden Ranch shopping plaza offers a decent selection of stores and services, making it suitable for basic shopping needs. However, the overall ambiance and parking situation left something to be desired. If you're in the area and need to pick up a few things, it's a satisfactory option, but don't expect a particularly memorable or exceptional...
Read moreThey have an amazing ambiance with the biggest fireplace you've ever seen in the foyer and whole nature scenes including life sized taxidermic buffaloes on the ceiling. It's huge with a giant fishtank including a life sized waterfall with tons of native fish in it. Big gun department, a forest of fishing poles, they even sell boats. Not cheap though and there it's always a weight in the gun department you have to take a number and then when they actually call your number you have to transact in front of everybody else waiting for a number it's kind of embarrassing if you're buying 22 rounds and they're like "what you shooting today?". They offer credit cards that come with club services and earn you points to spend at the store I just bought $100 for the stuff on my points last night but the interest on the credit cards outrageous. However if you don't qualify for most credit cards you'll probably qualify...
Read moreIt never ceases to amaze me what the Bass Pro shop has in it. Located just off hey 85at Almaden you cant miss its tower sticking up. With plenty of parking it's a quick walk into the store. I was looking to source some holiday gifts and I wasn't disappointed. I found a pair of cargo shorts with lots of button pockets. I chose the toasted mushroom color, but the sagey green was nice too. I found a tree sprite (face to put on a tree) for a gag gift, and a nice little cowgirl hat to go with an outfit for a young girl. As usual I was greeted by an employee who got me headed in the right direction. Always a help in a huge store like this. I just like the atmosphere of the place in general. I always find something in the camping isles for our back yard. I looked at a lot of rugged outdoor wear. I also liked their electric yard vehicles. I can see one of those will be...
